Cascade Cottage is a private, stand-alone cottage located on the Twin Willows estate in Mars Hill, North Carolina. The cottage is fully ADA compliant and thoughtfully designed for comfort, accessibility, and peaceful relaxation.

Ideal for couples, solo travelers, and guests seeking accessibility, Cascade Cottage offers a quiet retreat within a scenic mountain setting, with optional on-site dining, events, and outdoor amenities available nearby when desired.

Property Layout & Guest Access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage, including the kitchen, living area, bedroom, and accessible bathroom. Parking is located close to the cottage for easy arrival.

Guests may also enjoy shared outdoor spaces across the estate, including walking areas, fire pits, and lawn games. Optional dining and event spaces are located near the entrance of the property and are clearly separated from the cottage.

Self check-in is provided. We’re available by message if assistance is needed while respecting guest privacy. Staff may be present near the entrance during food service hours or events.

It was a nice, well maintained property, that didn't stick us in the middle of a crowded complex. Quiet. Calm. And so nice to not have to stress over anything.

Couldn't ask for more. Clean beautiful and friendly folks. Comfy beds, all the amenities you could ask for. Great welcome basket even had doggie biscuits for Amos Moses.

Great cottage, close to town, but also super quiet.

we had a wonderful trip. easy to find. quick communication with the owner, had everything we needed. very clean, dog friendly rental, loved it. Multiple homes on the property. but didnt feel close to any of them. Beautiful hike for kids and dog.

Cascade Cottage in Mars Hill, N.C.

We stayed at Twin Willows in Mars Hill, NC at Cascade Cottage and had the best time. It was absolutely amazing and beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying there. Smokin’Joe Lasher food truck was the best, he can definitely cook! Delicious! We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend Twin Willows and stay at Cascade Cottage..

If you need to be near Mars Hill University, this comfortable cottage is just steps away! Very spacious with everything you need. We will be back!

Helene Relief Volunteers

The home was clean and comfortable - a great place to rest after 2 days spent volunteering. We weren't able to get the Keurig to work. Also we suggest heavier curtains in one bedroom to keep outside light out at night. Other than those 2 areas, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend it to others.
