Welcome to 'Quietside Lakefront Cabin,' a delightful haven tucked away on the peaceful side of Door County, perched on the stunning shores of Lake Michigan. This endearing hideaway near Jacksonport caters not only to couples looking for a romantic respite but also to families desiring a memorable nature retreat.
20 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay, this rental is serviced by high-speed internet from Spectrum, offering reliable and fast internet service for everything from Zoom calls to streaming services for family movie nights. While the house offers peaceful seclusion of the surrounding woods, the rest of the Door Peninsula is short drive away.

Please note, that while the cabin is lakefront, there is no lake access.
The property is hosted by Carolyn and our professional co-hosts, Rob & Suzie. Your rental will always be prepared for your stay by one of our cleaning specialists. The home is prepared with professionally laundered bed linens and towels, and stocked basic supplies such as toiletries, coffee, TP, and kitchen essentials.

Our co-hosts, Rob & Suzie, have been hosting guests since 2014. You'll check in to the home using a keypad deadbolt. We're always available via phone call or text to assist with things during your stay.

This peaceful neighborhood is within easy driving distance to the bustling peninsula towns of Egg Harbor, Baileys Harbor, Fish Creek, and Sister Bay. In addition, Jacksonport boasts a stunning public sand beach, perfect for leisurely strolls, sun-soaked afternoons, or refreshing swims in the warmer months. Needs some fixes

I was a bit surprised by the other five-star ratings, but those could understandably be based on the property's nice waterfront location at a relatively low price. Communication with the property management was excellent, the nice linens and towels were appreciated, and the rocky shoreline is beautiful. The oven is rusting and the interior of the oven is filthy. Stained and old bathroom fixtures are in strong need of updating. A sign next to the toilet reads, "Please Double Check the Toilet So It Is Not Leaking", which shouldn't be the responsibility of the renters. Some quick sweeping of dirt and spiderwebs on the screened-in and exterior porches would be nice. Minor fixes like these show respect for the renters and enhance their experience, a necessity no matter how low a rental is priced. The house could be a gem with some minor work, most by the owner, some by housekeeping.

Beautiful home, great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is on a quiet road and very private. The view and sounds of the lake were so relaxing. There was a nice selection of movies and plenty of kitchen basics. It made a great home base for exploring the area, and had plenty of comfortable common spaces for times we wanted to hang out at home. We would love to come and stay again sometime!

Nice stay in Jacksonport

We had a very nice stay. Beautiful view of the lake, quiet, calm, pleasant. Home has been updated and is comfortable. Full kitchen, screened porch, comfortable rooms. Just outside Jacksonport with easy access to the lake side of Door County, or a quick jaunt across the peninsula to the bay side. Would definitely recommend.
