Plan your unforgettable Door County getaway today! Tucked away in the pines of Northern Door County, Cliff Cottage offers serene views and welcomes you with a sense of tranquility. The breathtaking shades of blue of Lake Michigan greet you at the door, setting the tone for a truly peaceful retreat.

Cliff Cottage is managed by RestAssure Door County, a local property management company that focuses on excellent guest experiences.


Cliff Cottage is located in Jacksonport, in Northern Door County, on a quiet one-lane road that runs along Lake Michigan. You are a short and easy walk to downtown Jacksonport, where you can find a local farmers market on Tuesday mornings beginning at the end of May and running through mid-October. Jacksonport Park and Beach is one of our favorites along with the number of restaurants, bars, and local shops in town. If you are looking for silent sport rentals or excursions you can book an outdoor adventure downtown Jacksonport!

We are located in a residential area where many of our residents enjoy the peacefulness of the area by walking or listening to the waves. We ask that our guests respect the peaceful nature of the area by driving slowly and keeping noise down past 9pm.

You'll have full access to this home, with the exception of the locked owner's closet, located off the laundry area.

There is NO water access for guests at this property. The steps down to the water's edge are the property of our neighbors and not for guest use.

Completely renovated, Cliff Cottage offers two-bedrooms, 1.5 bath, a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, drip coffee pot, toaster and gas grill off the back deck.

Our comfortable master bedroom provides our guests with stunning views of the lake, a comfortable king bed, a walk-in closet, and direct access to the large back deck via the sliding doors.

The second bedroom offers a twin bunk bed over a queen bed, a large closet, and dressers for our guests.

The main bath has a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, a large vanity, and a hairdryer.

Our open-concept kitchen, living room and large dining table provide great views while you make memories with those you enjoy most!

Absolutely loved this property and the location. We prefer the quieter side of the peninsula, and this was the perfect spot. It’s an easy drive—about 15–20 minutes—to Baileys Harbor and the busier Door County destinations like Sister Bay, Ephraim, and Fish Creek, while still being close enough to walk to a few places in Jacksonport. We especially enjoyed Scotty’s Pub & Grub for great burgers, cheese curds, and drinks.The house itself was wonderful. We spent a lot of time on the deck just listening to the waves, watching the occasional eagle fly by, and seeing kayakers out on the lake. The road is also great for walking and biking, with very little traffic, and the few cars we encountered were moving slowly.The home is nicely appointed, very comfortable, and appears to have been recently updated. It had everything we needed and was a great home base for exploring Door County while still feeling peaceful and removed from the crowds.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return.

Unmatched location and incredibly clean. Tbh I would prolly stay for the shower alone. I regret we hadn’t planned for more days here. Whatever length of time you’re thinking of staying, extend it. This place is beyond fantastic.

Cliff Cottage Amazing

My husband and I have been staying in Vrbo’s for many years. Cliff cottage was a great getaway. Our cottage was exceptionally clean, well laid out, comfortable furniture and was quiet and very cozy. My favorite time was enjoying our views of Lake Michigan and loved hearing the waves splashing against the shore. Definitely was one of my favorite vacation cabins, would highly recommend for anyone who can appreciate nature at its best.

Girls Trip

We went on a Door County Girls Trip this June and it was a blast !! The check in process was very easy and our stay was smooth. Location was awesome. We brought the electric scooters out to check out the neighborhood and there are some cute little spots around.Very peaceful and scenic. I love the open concept and updates in this home. From bedrooms to baths, outdoor. It was great. Two things I want to address. 1 there weren’t any screen doors and we went during summertime so we wanted to leave the sliding doors in the back open but if you do that a TON of bugs will join your party. I am very big on fans in bedrooms. Because we couldn’t open the sliding doors at night and I was in the primary bedroom, the air in the house was stale and did not circulate well. I wish there was some type of fan. Aside from those two things. This place was perfect and we had a blast. The property manager was quick to respond and very sweet as well. Thank you

This was an excellent cottage for our family of three’s trip to Door County. The views could not be beat. The cottage is tucked away along a quiet wooded road, but it is still a quick walk or drive to Jacksonport, Baileys Harbor, and Sturgeon Bay. We would highly recommend booking this cottage for a group of 3-5.
