Welcome to the jungle at this absolutely luscious tropical hideaway offering a secluded, verdant setting just steps from one of Costa Rica’s best surfing beaches. This fully open-air paradise offers complete immersion in your surroundings, from the sound of birds each morning to tree frogs chirping each night. This home produces its own electricity from solar-powered panels and stores excess power in batteries located at the home.

Wake up each morning with the sunrise and sea breeze blowing through the bamboo walls, then walk a few steps down to the beach for a quick dip in the ocean. When you return, draw a bath in the gorgeous soaking tub and relax with the jungle as your backdrop.

When you get hungry, the well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to whip up a full meal or just some snacks, and there’s room to eat around the kitchen island. Spend the day hiking, surfing, lounging on the beach, having a dip in the property’s plunge pool, or just reading a book on the sofa. Keep dinner simple on the carbon grill, then choose from either bedroom sanctuary when you get sleepy - another day in paradise starts tomorrow.

Jungle paradise

This amazing property has everything you need. Very impressed with kitchen amenities, toweling and linens — all top grade, even quilted toilet paper! Heavenly beds (dreamy sleep under the netting), hot water when you need it, excellent wifi. Joel is wonderful, has good command of the English language, and truly respects the integrity of the property and local environment. Monkeys & other creatures live in the adjacent jungle but never entered the house. 4x4 or “tall” vehicle is mandatory in order to reach the property, and don’t worry — you indeed will arrive intact!
