We stayed here for 6 nights with our family of 5, and it was a great home base to unwind after spending long days as tourists around Niagara Falls. The host was wonderfully helpful and responsive, and the neighborhood felt very quiet, peaceful, and safe.The house itself has a cozy, nostalgic charm—it reminded us of staying at a grandmother’s house that has been lovingly lived in for over 40 years. While it’s an older home, it was comfortable for our family and served its purpose well.

Beautiful property! Host was very personable and caring. We took morning and evening walks around the neighborhood daily. When returning back to the property at night, it really was like coming home, so welcoming! Very good vibes.

It was very clean inside but outside I didn't feel comfortable letting my kids play freely. Aspects were clearly labeled and there was a nice selection of information on the area to help us. There was an issue with hot water in 1 bathroom which they tried to quickly resolve when I informed them about it. It was a peaceful area with a very short walk to enjoy a beautiful sunset!

I was hoping that we could see the Lake from inside the house, but it was a super short walk away. We enjoyed sunsets from the bench provided by the lake. Sandy was super helpful and had a lot of info at the house for ideas of things to do. We were given a couple VERY generous offers with the house but unfortunately couldn’t take advantage of them.

Sandy was a wonderful host, very communicative and friendly. We loved staying in the area and exploring all the local shops, restaurants, and attractions. Loved that the property was dog friendly and even had a little gated in side yard. We definitely want to come back!

Great Location

House was very easy to find, with good location to everything nearby including Niagara Falls both US and Canada. Yard was adequate for both our pups that came along. Home had everything you need to be away with quit location and good view of the Great Lake. Would stay again!

We stayed here as a family for the weekend and had a lovely time. The house was clean and well stocked for a family of 5. The house is right off the lake so we were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Sandy has an amazing host. Super friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone traveling to the Niagara region.

The house was perfect for a ladies get away- very clean, everything we needed. In a very safe feeling neighborhood. We enjoyed spending time by the lake and being able to see Toronto across the lake. Lots of things to do nearby- good food- and even more important not a lot of traffic. Having perfect weather made this fall get away even better.

A great place to spend a long vacation!

Quiet and comfortable, I highly recommend staying at the quiet house on the lake. Close enough to the Canadian border without actually being in a big hotel. 30 to 40 minutes away.

Cute cottage in quiet lake neighborhood. Clean and loaded with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Sandy was very friendly and responsive. I recommend to all and will stay again.

I grew up in Lewiston and love this unique border town so steeped in rich history. Lewiston is a little hamlet very close to Niagara Falls and was burned down in the War of 1812.. I know everything about this area , past and present and love interacting with my guests. I try very hard to not only welcome them but am intent on learning and guiding them to having the best vacation they could possibly have.

Why they chose this property

This is a wonderful property. The neighborhood is so quiet and friendly. It is only 3 streets of small houses and cottages with the wonder of Lake Ontario, right there in your back yard. Ot os a very special place and one can't help but bond and relax while there. It is so close to all the action, but yet it is wonderful to come home to peace and tranquility. !

What makes this property unique

There are so many benefits, it is hard to know where to start. The lake front is just. a few steps away from the house. Although it is private to only the residents of this small community, it is like having your own private lake because there is seldom anyone at the lakefront. There is a wonderful spacious living room with a wrap around couch that is so perfect for visiting with family and friends. I love dogs and even offer an extra service in which I can watch your dog with tender loving care, if you decide to take a long day trip to Canada or elsewhere. .
