About this property

Three bedroom two bath lake front cottage Wilson NY.

This property has been inspected and approved for rental by the Town of Wilson and meets all rental requirements. Guess what - we are adding on an addition to be completed in April 2026. It is a 16 x 14 master bedroom with an attached master bathroom with a walk-in 48 inch shower. The bedroom has a well out to the deck. See the architectural drawings of the addition in the pictures of the cottage. We will update pictures of the addition as the addition is completed. If you looking for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life or just a few days of serenity? This location is the place for you. The soon to be three bedroom two bath summer cottage is directly on the shore of Lake Ontario in Wilson, NY.

The inside has a large central living/dining room. The kitchen has all new appliances. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. All rooms have air conditioning. The bathroom is 8 x 8 and has a 34-inch shower stall shower. The bedrooms have new beds, mattresses, and bedding. The new master bedroom will be 16 x 14 with a king size bed. The second bedroom is 12 x 12 with a queen bedroom. The third bedroom is 10x10 and has a full bed. The living area has a new queen sleeper sofa. There is Wi Fi cable and smart TV in central living area.

Enjoy the outside eating areas, sit in the gazebo in the front, enjoy conversations around the fire pit, or relax as you watch the beautiful sunsets. There is plenty of room for outside activities and private water access for kayaking or just sitting or just sitting with your feet in the water.

Stores and restaurants are only a 5-minute car ride away. If you want to do some sightseeing, Niagara Falls and the Canadian border are only 25 minutes away. Fishing boat rentals are available in Wilson and Olcott, 5 minutes away. Service animals are allowed. Please let owner know if there will be a service animal.

Check-in is at 4;00 on the first day of the stay, and check-out is at 11:00 am on the last day. There is no smoking allowed in the cottage around the cottage perimeter, or anywhere on the propery. There isn’t a washer or dryer in tte cottage but there is a laundromat nearby. There is NO SMOKING on the property (you will need to go to the street?and NO FISH CLEANING IN THE COTTAGE.

It was spiritually cleansing to just sit and stare at that beautiful lake with quiet all around us. We did not entertain there, wanted to keep it to ourselves. Our Roku box connected perfectly with their TV and we were able to watch our shows at night. We loved our visit to the Medina Railroad museum and bought a Tommy Train hat for this old lady. YES WE WILL BE BACK!

Beutiful lake views

This property has a gorgeous view of lake Ontario. A great place to sit outside and read a book. We took a short drive to Niagra falls and spent the day. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked. Linens and paper products were provided. There was a pedal boat to use on the pond for fishing. Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely return.

Complete recharge

We loved the view and the house so much we never wanted to leave and in fact we changed plans for an outing to get more time to just sit on the lawn and read and relax! It was peaceful and a perfect amount of togetherness and solitude. The wildlife was a joy too. Bunnies, beavers, toads, geese, racoons and fireflies! We will be back.

The sunsets!

We stayed a week and the location was fantastic. Very quiet and the sunsets were spectacular. The house appears recently renovated and was very comfortable. We stay in the area every 8 weeks or so and look forward to visiting again.

Almost a slice of heaven

This property was gorgeous. I enjoyed the quite and being right next to the water. Still close enough to a lot of different areas including shopping, Niagara Falls, etc. My family and I will definitely be back.

Cute place with stunning sunsets

What a nice dog friendly place directly overlooking the Lake Ontario shores. Very comfy house with large living room and additional large outdoor patio. The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the beds were very comfortable. Paul the owner was great and checked on us because we arrived late. Highly recommend this place and if we come back to the area we would definitely return here.

Unforgettable sunset views on the lake!

This is a beautifully appointed and cozy cottage with everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Relax in the backyard and enjoy the Gorgeous sunset views. Our hosts gave us all the details through email and let us know they could be reached at anytime since they were nearby. Definitely recommend for a long romantic weekend. I only wish a small washer/dryer were available.

Small Cottage, BIG heart

This was the perfect place for our stay when we visited family!!! Centrally located to Wilson, Olcott and Barker!!! I love this cottage. It is ideal for 2 adults. It is sparkling clean, with a nice kitchen and bathroom. The Master bedroom is ideal and the bed is very comfortable. THE VIEWS: the views are what gives this cottage it's BIG Heart. You can't get any closer to the lake and the sound of waves on the shore than this!!! Based upon availability, this will be the only place we stay. 10/10. Thank you so much for such a nice place to stay.

Family trip

We had a great stay in Wilson. We loved the pond in the front and lake in the back! My husband and kids caught plenty of fish. I enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfy. Looked better than the pictures. It is a buggy area being so close to the lake but not sure what can really be done about that, and the bathroom is pretty tight space. But overall we would come back:) Niagara Falls was about a 40 min drive away. Lots of yummy local restaurants around!

Comfortable Vacation Home

Beautiful view of the lake right out the glass living room doors to the patio! The kitchen had all I would need to cook with: plenty of pots and pans, mixing bowls, other tools, baking sheets, foil, dishes, cups, spices, oil (and dish soap). The hosts thoughtfully provided space heaters since the evenings were in the 30s in early April. Other small thoughtful touches contributed to the comfort of the stay. The living room felt spacious for 2 and the property was clean and neat. The water tasted different than home, of course, but I have no complaints. Before the trip, I had some questions that the host helpfully answered. Although there's no path across the front lawn from the driveway to the front porch, it is well-lit at night, with floodlights triggered by sensors.

What a lovely home on the lake. We enjoyed a couple of days relaxing with beautiful views. The house had everything we needed and more. The owners are close by and are so kind. Comfy bed too! Didn’t really want to leave. Looking forward to another visit.

This beautiful property nestled on the shores of Lake Ontario was perfect for our family. My younger girls enjoyed fishing on the pond, paddle boating, and taking in the sights and sounds the lake has to bring. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding communities and all the area has to bring. Mostly relaxation for us! The house had all the essentials plus more, to make us feel welcome and at home. The property owners were highly communicative and made check-in to checking out a breeze. Book this property, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful Cottage

The cottage was very clean! The decor is beautiful and the furniture was brand new. The kitchen was small but very well stocked and met our needs. Nice large refrigerator! The highlight of the weekend for the grandkids was the pond. They caught so many fish and loved the paddle boat. We loved the lake view and sunsets. The fire pit was stocked with wood and had plenty of chairs around it. The property owners were so nice and responded right away when we had a question.

A great place to relax with friends and to watch sunsets

Paul and Erin are great hosts. Very responsive and friendly. Several times in the past few years, my friends from around the US and I have returned to our home town (Lockport) to renew friendships. By far, this is our best place to get together and share our experiences. We are already planning to stay with Paul and Erin on our next trip.

You can't put a price on relaxation and creating memories. While there are other cottages available for rent, none offer the same water access, spacious yard, and tranquility as this one.

What makes this property unique

The property features a spacious yard and ensures privacy. It comes fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and everything else needed for cooking. Since there is no dishwasher, the owner supplies disposable cooking utensils and paper plates to enhance the vacation experience for guests.. The property is large enough to part a boat or jet skis.
