The Lavender House was perfect for our long weekend stay with are daughters and dog. The house is very comfortable with great amenities, like soaking tub, fireplaces, hot tub, washer/dryer, and fully equipped kitchen.Conveniently located to Binksberry Hallow.
What a great escape! My wife and I took a long weekend to take in the sites at Niagara Falls and some quiet time together. A comfortable A-Frame home with all the amenities you need. But more importantly, that view was amazing. The memory of sitting in the hot tube staring out to an endless lake as the sun was sitting will live as a core memory for years. Highly Recommend!
This was a perfect getaway for my husband and me…quiet area, very private, not far from shops and restaurants. View of the lake is gorgeous, property very clean with everything we needed.
The pictures definitely do not do it justice… You have to be there in person to enjoy and embrace the beauty. Emilee was very accommodating and stayed in communication with us on an as needed basis. She was easy to get a hold of and responsive. This was our first time booking through VRBO, so we weren’t sure what to expect. The great thing about Emilee’s property, is that she has five other ones that all looked just as great. We wish we could’ve saved longer and maybe over the weekend. We had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only recommendation offered by my wife, would to somehow place a roof over the back patio, so if it’s raining outside, you could still be outside. Whoever gets to stay there next, you will see how beautiful it is. Thank you for allowing us to spend our anniversary at this beautiful property.
What a gorgeous vacation! This chalet has the best views, which we enjoyed every morning and evening. The house was perfect for our family vacation. We loved the views and enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation. The beds were very cozy. A few minor details were figured out easily: wet sheets upon arrival, difficult hot tub cover, & lots of spider webs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend to everyone.
This was a perfect spot for our summer vacation. Only about 40 minutes away from Niagara Falls, but completely tucked away in a quiet spot along Lake Ontario. The home was clean and had everything that we needed. The hot tub was great. We would definitely recommend to others.
We had a wonderful vacation! The home was just as promised. The view of Lake Ontario was extraordinary. The owner responded to any communication very quickly. Highly recommend this home!!
My wife and I, our 16 month old baby, and our dog had such an amazing stay. The place was private and had a great view of Lake Ontario. The hot tub is awesome, and the bath tub is great as well. Beds are comfy, and we loved the gas indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Can’t stress enough how relaxing our stay was. Highly recommend!!
We booked this chalet for two nights on our way from Michigan to Massachusetts. It was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We relaxed in the hot tub and went to Niagara Falls the next day for the Maid of the Mist. It was one of the best experiences ever!
Beautiful home, very clean inside, well appointed, great view and away from the mass of humanity in Niagara Falls. Gorgeous area. Outside deck area and amenities could use a lot of attention relative to cobwebs and spiders when guest are arriving. Hot tub cover is too heavy to fool with.
Nice surprise for the end of September. A lot of restaurants in the area were closed. Wineries close early on Fridays, like 6pm. Location was fine, we picked some areas like Lewiston to walk around Visited a small winery on Saturday afternoon when the evening cooled off, fireplace was nice as well as the hot tub was enjoyable. Soaking tub as well
We loved our stay at the cottage. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking. The house was perfect. Exactly as the pictures show. This home is large and spacious. They included everything to make our stay feel like home. The outside patio and seating area is perfect for enjoying the lake. We used this area the most to visit with our family.
The area the home is located in is perfect. It isn't too close to the crowds of the local shops but it is just a very short drive or even walk away. We enjoyed the privacy of the location. We also enjoyed that there was a farmer's market and u-pick produce very close by. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to see our family!
This house is truly lovely, and it would be all by itself even if there weren't gorgeous turquoise waters of Lake Ontario visible from nearly everywhere in the house. This house has it all, it is ready for you to bring just your clothes and a toothbrush, everything else is provided (hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, dishwasher tabs...even laundry detergent if you need to do a load!). The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was a fancy one with tons of jets, and we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit drinking wine every night. Speaking of wine, we did not know that this is in the center of Niagara wine country! It is a very short and easy drive to Niagara Falls and Fort Niagara, we enjoyed the scenic drive to these places. The kitchen is a great size and had everything we needed, and we enjoyed playing games that we brought and watching movies in the evening. Excellent communication with the host. We will fondly remember this trip and this house - thank you!
Property was very clean and the view of the lake was great. However a few items we should mention. We were given 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person for 5 days. The kitchen is not adequately supplied to do much cooking. The hot tub cover is waterlogged on one side and very heavy, it’s also in very bad condition and ready to fall apart. If you want to watch tv bring your passwords for your streaming channels. Who carries or remembers passwords! For the price I felt we should mention these things. But as we said the house is nice and with a little more care of user needs , would be a fantastic place!
