Very responsive host with accurate info on property. Very good instructions. Property was well equipped. We appreciated the use of the paddle boards on the lake.
Place was cozy and clean with beautiful views. Our family had a lovely time enjoying the lake and using the home to eat most meals. Some outdated plumbing fixtures that caused a problem but the owner was very responsive. Would consider staying here again!
Great location. Walked to Brownies for ice cream multiple times, Also, walked to the boat house for dinner and drinks:) Would totally stay again. The only thing I would suggest a clean up of the patio area before guest stay. All the furniture outside was covered in spider webs and bird poop. But besides that we had a great stay!
Perfect location on te laje with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Beds comfortabke and bathrooms equipped with a lot of staples except could have had a few more hand towels.
Kitchen adequate and patio nice for sitting and looking at the lake. Walking to restaurant.
Well kept, easy to find host. Great location. Sits next to water treatment plant, but has no impact on beauty of the property. Lakefront bedroom remains fairly warm despite central AC. I would definitely stay here again!
Great weekend getaway place with family. Big enough for us to sit all together. House is nice, view is great. Second time we stayed. Would come back again.
Everything about this rental was great - owner is very responsive to messages and excellent to work with - my family and I loved our stay and looking forward to our return next year!!
We enjoyed the property - good access to water to swim, loved the campfire right next to lake, good food at restaurant only steps away, located very close to the pier and a state park. Would def book again
We stayed with kids and friends
Had a great time swimming in lake and sitting by fire
House had everything we needed
Great restaraunt and brewery close by
View of the lake is absolutely breathtaking, it was so relaxing to sit in the backyard and watch boats go by. Our teenagers had a blast swimming in the lake, using life jackets and paddleboards provided by the hosts. The house is clean, comfortable, and well stocked in a quiet neighborhood. Communication with the Kim was very easy. We enjoyed going to a few of the roadside farmers markets to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables. Beautiful place to make memories with your family!
This was our second stay at this house and we can't say enough great things about this place - Hostess was easy to work with and returned and questions or concerns we might have had - This house is located right next the lake and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting - looking forward to rent again next year!
We had a lovely time at this lake front home on Lake Ontario. It was an easy drive to Niagara Falls for a day trip and there are quite a few options in walking distance. We checked out the coffee shop, Brownie's ice cream and the marina restaurant right across the street. The property is clean and comfortable and was a great choice for our family getaway!
We loved this house as a resting space after our weekend soccer tournament in Fort Niagara. We were 3 families that were comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and fishing both nights. No fish just nibbles. Would definitely stay here again .
We got in on Tuesday after a weekend in Boston, Maine, NH and VT. We did laundry and had a nice home cooked meal in the house then went to Niagra Falls sight seeing the next few days. We learned how to track the ships we saw on the lake and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
My second time at this wonderful property....and hopefully not my last. Beautiful view of Lake Ontario out your backdoor. Right next to The Wilson Harbor with and Boat House Restaurant conveniently close. Host was wonderful when I had a question.

Beautiful house and location!
The house is really beautiful and right next to Lake Ontario with an amazing view. It's right next to a pier you can walk down or fish from. We stayed here in order to visit Niagara Falls. It's about a half hour away from the Falls and was much more relaxing then staying in a hotel right by the Falls. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to come back again!
This home as everything: location, amenities, a firepit, plenty of space and the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The owners are attention and kind. We will continue to rent this home every summer. We are even coming back in September and have already booked it.
Beautiful setting on the lake! A few friends and I loved relaxing and catching up in this super clean, well appointed house!
It was the perfect location for a mini vacation! Beautiful scenery, lovely, cozy surroundings.... we will definitely be interested in visiting again!!!! Thank you!

About the host
Hosted by Kimberly Bolos
I grew up in a small neighboring town just outside Niagara Falls and left the area to attend and eventually graduate from SUNY Geneseo. I relocated to Dallas, TX for a career opportunity but have returned to the area every summer to take in its beauty and many local attractions. Now married with small children of my own, our family sought out and purchased this vacation property. While we reside in Dallas, local relatives manage this property.
Why they chose this property
We sought out this property because of its personal history with my family. It is the same property I would walk past with my dad on our way from the ice cream shop out to the end of the pier. We would wonder what it would be like to own and live in such a beautiful house with such a beautiful view. Western New York and this particular region hold so much natural beauty and provide so many affordable healthy activities that my husband and I want our children to share in these experiences. We share this home with you as a special place to vacation, reconnect with family and create special memories year after year.
What makes this property unique
The location is perfect! Coming from Dallas, TX it is wonderful to enter a relaxing small town atmosphere yet still have access to several activities, attractions, restaurants and shops as you would in a city. It is located across the street from a bustling boathouse, quaint upscale restaurant, and several small shops. Need some fresh vegetables? Drive down the road and stop at one of the many roadside stands whose farmers still accept payment by the honor system. We appreciate this home's proximity to Canada as well as the neighboring U.S. cities such as Lockport, Lewiston, Niagara Falls & Buffalo (quick access to Canada can be made via the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge).
