We enjoyed a 10 day stay here with our family (total of 6) over the 4th of July holiday. Everything was a “5 star” experience. The ADU bedroom and bath were a great retreat for our daughter and son in law, while our teen grandsons stayed up in the loft.Everything worked, great AC, and the sunsets were awesome. The owners were next door and very welcoming. Thanks so much!
The cabin was very nice with a great living area and well equipped kitchen. Location was perfect for visiting family in the area. The pictures on the website for the interior of the bunkhouse are not correct, although the description included everything in the bunkhouse. Also, the bunk house was lacking a toilet paper holder, towel rods and bathroom rugs. However, these missing pieces did not dampen the fun vacation.
For the most part, everything you would need was available. We were a little disappointed about no hot tub or fire pit but we managed. It is a steep driveway so pulling our boat in and out was challenging but doable. The views and yard were perfect! It does get warm in the loft, so bring a fan. The ceiling fans didn’t work nor did about two-thirds of the lights. It was really nice having the guest house if traveling with older children. The boat dock is super close also. Thank you

Not set up for families with little kids
The house is nice and clean, but wasn’t really ideal for us. I think it would be best suited for a family with older kids (no more than 2 if you want privacy and the king bed) as one bed is in a guest house out back. My kids had to be crowded inside, or sleep alone out back. I’m not giving this house a poor rating overall as we did have a nice time, but I don’t think the description adequately describes what this place really offers. We have 4 kids (ages 4-9) and there was no beach for play; they had to enter the lake from dock stairs. All my kids came home with bloody cut up feet from sharp broken snail shells. The water was very clean and warm- kids could still touch off the dock end. There is no dock fishing, you have to have a boat so that was disappointing. There were only patio table chairs for lounging in the yard/deck, a lounger would have been nice. Linens and beds were nice, very comfortable and we slept great! We did not have enough beach towels though, another two would have been good. The main bathroom is small, so don’t plan on having space to get fancy. Kitchen was nice and we were able to manage with the dishes available. For the price, I wouldn’t stay again- especially since the hot tub wasn’t functional and that was a large reason for choosing this home. Also, we didn’t have adequate garbage disposal and the owner didn’t respond when we tried to reach them.
