Loon Lake Paradise

This beautiful lake home exceeded our expectations! We especially enjoyed using the kayaks, fire pit, pool table and the ability to have a rented pontoon delivered to us. The fishing on Loon Lake was great and of course, we loved hearing the loons at night. The property is very well maintained and we can’t wait to return!

Unique and cozy log cabin! Loved the craftsmanship of the woodwork and metal sculpture throughout. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Billiards table in basement and kayaks were fun family activities. Incredible sunrises over the lake. Lake is clean and quiet. Pontoon rental option was a nice and worthwhile add on. We enjoyed the stone patio facing the lake as well as the bbq grill. We would revisit this rental in the future! Thank you for a magical fall extended weekend!

The cabin is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. My parents once lived on Loon Lake, and my siblings now reside in Fargo, Grand Forks, and Minneapolis. This allowed us to visit with everyone. This is a beautful cabin and is furnished with what a cook would need. The host was very good about getting back to us and answering our questions. We went to find the trolls, which was great. Lunch at the Loon Cafe, Dinner at Spankies. The best part was watching the sun come up. Definitely a place to stay.

We had the absolute best time here! This place comes fully loaded, inside and out. The cabin is top notch. Fishing, tubing, and cruising around on the pontoon were our favorites. We also enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board. Will definitely be back!

Perfect Lakehouse

We were looking for a location for our family to meet up, and are so glad we found Josh’s house. It was perfectly equipped in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The water was crystal clear and we loved the access to water toys. Highly recommend renting their pontoon boat, as it was a highlight for us to explore Loon lake. Hope to return!

MEA weekend family getaway

Our family had a great time at the cabin. Our children really enjoyed the lakeshore and the large front yard. The cabin is beautiful with large windows overlooking the lake and unique woodwork. Because of the open layout of the home you can literally hear every noise throughout the home, which was a bit of a challenge with small children, but we made it work just fine.

Sister Weekend

We arrived on Friday Afternoon and stayed until Sunday. The house was beautiful and well kept up. There is plenty of room for a large family to stay there. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the view of the lake from the windows. There was a town about 2 miles away to get our groceries/supplies - so that was very convenient. Would definitely recommend this place and I would love to come back in the summertime and stay there!

Peaceful getaway

This was a perfect spot for a long weekend of relaxation. The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The hosts even kindly welcomed us with a lovely charcuterie board! The location right on the water, though, is the biggest selling point. We spent hours near the shore, letting our dogs jump off the dock, or just paddling in the water. Would definitely return again

Our grandkids call this the log mansion. We had a great time…even celebrated a small wedding for our daughter. We caught a nice walleye off of the dock, and the kids braved the chilly water to swim. We had a few chilly, rainy days, but we felt cozy in the cabin.

Awesome cabin

The cabin and property was so amazing that we stayed an extra night. The view and access to lake was great and private. I love that it’s a dog friendly property. Our dogs had so much fun playing in lake and large yard. Close to amenities. I definitely would recommend to everyone. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

A beautiful house on a clear, pristine lake in September

We loved our stay in Vergas at this beautiful, lakeside home. The master bedroom is in the loft of the A-frame looking out at the lake, and there is plenty of space to gather around the table for food and games or spread out for some quiet time. We enjoyed the pool table, too.
