The 570 sq ft apartment is located in a quiet forested neighborhood with views overlooking the Sierra Foothills. There are many walks and trails just outside the door which is especially nice for dog lovers. The apartment has been completely remodeled and should have everything a single or couple need. There are many steps to negotiate.

We are an 8 minute drive from Nevada City and Grass Valley.

Wonderful stay

The apartment was cute, clean and had all the necessities. Great location in wooded neighborhood convenient to downtown, shops, trails and the Yuba river. The host was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when in Nevada City.

The entire place was immaculate. Fresh towels and extra blankets were available for use. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's even a teapot for boiling water for tea. There were no shops nearby and that is the charm of the property. It is exquisitely tranquil. No cars driving by, no planes flying over, just the most adorable manicured yard for relaxing and meditating. The gazebo is charming. Grass Valley and Nevada City are just a 15 minute drive away. So, if you need something, it is not a major inconvenience. The only downside to the entire property are the stairs up to the apartment over the garage. I highly recommend this for people who want a quiet vacation rental where it really is possible to get away from it all. Vanessa is easy to talk to and very accommodating. Her dog Juno is a delight.

So quiet and secluded but only a short drive to town. Had everything I needed. Appreciate the drip coffee pot (I'm not fond of coffee pods), walk-in shower and washer/dryer. Great view from the deck of the beautiful landscape, pine trees and wildlife. Roomy, clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. I would rent again and probably will next year for more than just two days.

The neighborhood is a forested gem, with a beautiful view overlooking the Sierra Mountains. I love the peace and quiet of the neighborhood along with supportive friendly neighbors. I feel very safe.
