Welcome to The Library! The home is located in Eastham, off Route 6, just a short walk to Thumpertown Beach and a quick drive to the national seashore and bike trail. The home is newly renovated including a redesigned eat-in kitchen, screened-in three seasons room, and a fenced-in outdoor patio area with an outdoor shower. We are pet friendly, so come unwind and enjoy all the Cape has to offer with your furry friend.


Your home away from home has everything you'll need to enjoy all that the Cape has to offer. It is fully furnished with dressers, mirrors, closets, and new beds in each bedroom. Each room includes a window AC unit during the summer.

The living room features a 55-inch smart TV with cable and all your favorite streaming services. Multiple books are included at the home, so please enjoy one or more during your stay!

The kitchen has been redesigned with new lighting and a lovely island featuring two barstools. It is equipped with cooking essentials for preparing meals at home, a grill for outdoor cooking, and lots of seating areas outside to relax with nature.

The backyard is fully fenced in with multiple Adirondack chairs, an outdoor sofa, a fire pit, and an outdoor table with an umbrella. In the shed, you’ll find five beach chairs, a corn hole set, a sandcastle set, and more!

The bathroom includes travel-sized bath gel, shampoo, and conditioner for your convenience.

-New for 2023, a dishwasher
-Parking for up to 4 cars

We respect our neighbors greatly and outdoor noise in the evening should be kept to a reasonable level.

Cape Cod cottage

We decided to get away to the Cape this summer and overall had a good experience at the Library. It was a great location along the National Seashore. There were a few minor issues but the host was very responsive and the house was really cute with some nice upgrades in the kitchen and a new washer/dryer. The fenced in yard was also a plus and the sunsets on Thumpertown Beach were amazing!

I enjoy sharing my home with fellow lovers of the Cape and love helping others discover restaurants and all that the Cape has to offer.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is a quiet community on the bay side off Route 6. The home is a short walk to Thumpertown Beach. I love how close it is to nearby restaurants and lunch spots such as Hole in One Bakery, Sam's Deli, and Basco Grill. Grocery stores are a 10-minute drive to Orleans and Wellfleet is right on the other side with lovely restaurant seating by the ocean.

What makes this property unique

I am a fellow pet owner so I know how special it is to bring them along and have an outdoor space to enjoy the Cape. The backyard is fully fenced and includes chairs around the fire and a dining area. Additionally, the home is a 10-minute walk to the beach, includes beach chairs, games such as corn hole, and offers an outdoor shower!
