Everything we needed
The house had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to entertainment. When we weren't out hiking, there were plenty of fun activities to do like games, books, Nintendo, hanging by the fire, or watching the deer in the meadow. The place was peaceful and quiet--exactly what we wanted on our weekend away from the city!

Cozy cabin!
We had a wonderful week at this cabin exploring the black hills! Cozy cabin that is fairly secluded. Beautiful views with deer in the meadow daily. Hot tub was wonderful once we got the water hotter. Outdoor gas fireplace was very soothing. We had trouble with the lock but the property management was quick to respond. Shelves in the master bedroom suite were dusty but otherwise very clean. No cell service but did have WiFi. Fairly central location to explore everything. Not a lot of options for restaurants as we were there before the busy season. Overall a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful area!

What a delightful stay!
We loved it here. This cabin has so many thoughtful details – from the cozy "library" upstairs, the kid's nook under the stairs, the vinyl collection, NES gaming system, and the variety of games and puzzles. It's a good stay for a whole family. The decor, furniture, and overall vibe is fun. It seems like someone furnished it like the comfort of their own home vs. just to use it as a rental. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with any utensils and dishes we needed. The best part was waking up early to soak in the hot tub and watch the deer in the meadow. We'll be back!

A weekend
The property was beautiful and the house very nice. Unfortunately there were a lot of dead flies throughout the house. It was pretty gross. Also the fireplace downstairs never worked or kicked on. Leaving the house pretty chilly. With the check out being early at 10 and a decent list of “chores” for us to do on top of a 200 cleaning fee, I don’t know if I could recommend this to our friends. It was definitely nice, some of the drawbacks were pretty severe.

The perfect cozy stay in the mountains
We absolutely loved our time at this cabin in The Black Hills! Very private and secluded but still very central in the hills with easy access to the highway so you're only 30-40 minutes from Deadwood or Custer State Park. The amenities were just what we needed as well - from relaxing in the hot tub, to playing Super Mario on The Nintendo Entertainment System (we only got to world #2), to cozying up on the very comfortable sofa and furniture and watching some of our favorites shows over a cup of coffee. Would definitely recommend this cabin to our friends - it's the perfect place for a peaceful little getaway with people you love.
