The photos in the listing accurately represent the cabin and the furnishings provided. We understand that seating preferences vary, and we appreciate your feedback regarding the living room furniture. We accommodated an early check-in when you arrived several hours before your scheduled check-in time, so you could access the cabin early and settle in. The A/C is not Wi-Fi controlled, and we do not have any presets. It was operating properly and worked great for us on the day of your check-in. Prior to your arrival, you told us you would have one vehicle, and you parked that in front of the cabin for the duration of your stay. The expectation regarding parking trailers in the private parking area across the street was included in the message sent to you several days before check-in. We did not hear from you at any point during your stay regarding these concerns. Had we been made aware of any issues, we would have been happy to address them and do what we could to make your stay more comfortable. We appreciate your stay and your feedback, and we hope this provides some additional clarification for future guests.

Thank you for recognizing that the cabin was cozy, well furnished, and supplied with the necessary appliances, utensils, bedding, and reliable Wi-Fi. We are sorry the property did not meet your expectations; however, we would like to clarify several points. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, were sent days before arrival. When you had difficulty locating the code in the message, we spoke with you by phone and walked you through the message multiple times. Before your stay, we also discussed the boat launch and explained that it had recently been damaged by a fallen tree. Thankfully, there are two public boat launches located within two miles of the cabin. The boat lifts are private, and no boat lift was ever advertised as being available for guest use. Guests may secure their boats to the dock or remove them from the water based on weather conditions and their personal preference. The Wi-Fi was working properly at check-in. When service was later interrupted, you discovered that the router had been unplugged accidentally. When you plugged the router back in, internet service was restored. Our intention was simply to resolve the issue, not to place blame. The listing and photographs accurately show the cabin, amenities and the parking arrangements. The parking was discussed in both of our conversations prior to your arrvial as well. This designated parking area is private property for our guests’ use, and a trailer lock could have been used during your stay if security was a concern. We understand this arrangement may not be ideal for every guest which is why we encourage guests to review the listing details and ask questions before booking. We make every effort to provide clear information, responsive assistance, and a comfortable stay. We regret that the property was not the right fit for your specific boating and parking needs.
