Beautiful, large property right on the lake. Has everything you need for lake adventure or rainy day fun. Especially appreciate that it is pet friendly as our Newfoundland Dog, Truffle enjoyed the lake, woods, and yard. Excellent kitchen for cooking and gathering. Enjoyed the fire pit and the "looked to be brand new" grill. Plenty of parking and very peaceful and private. The available washer and dryer were an excellent bonus. The only challenges we had were determining which light switches did what (most were marked) but we could never figure out how to turn off one of the outside lights :) and the AC seems a little undersized for the size of the house but we were there during an exceptionally hot time.

Thank you so much for your kind review! I'm sorry you had difficulties with the switches. If it makes you feel better, I'm still learning which switches do what, which is why all of them aren't labeled. You were such great guests. Thank you for sticking with us during the crazy heat wave. Your kindness and understanding was greatly appreciated.

This was a beautiful retreat for our family. The house was as impeccable as it was comfortable. There was plenty of sleeping space, and the rooms were furnished with the guest in mind: comfortable beds, good lighting, and space to our things and relax. The hosts also had amenities for us including a well-stocked kitchen with coffee, tea, plenty of kitchen supplies to cook meals, and even various cling wrap and parchment paper. Additionally, each bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash, ample towels, and extra toilet paper and hairdryer. The outside spaces provided us with areas to enjoy the beautiful scenery. My husband kayaked while my son enjoyed hanging out in the water. My in-laws and I enjoyed the spacious deck. The gas grill was clean and we enjoyed meals on the deck that were prepared on it. While we didn't bring our dogs, the hosts did provide for them. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
