This was our second year staying at this house! It is such a great fit for our family of 7 (5 adults & 2 kids). It’s clean, plenty of bedding and bathroom supplies, great yard and outside area, and love the location in town. Nothing but great things to say about this property!

This quaint, beautifully updated home was absolutely perfect for our three–high school girlfriends getaway. It was spotless, they include lots of nice little amenities, and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood aprox two blocks from the lake.We loved being within walking distance of downtown — there was truly no need to drive anywhere. (The only exception might be a visit to Von Stiehl Winery, which is definitely worth the trip — and perhaps bringing home a few bottles!)The hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with, making everything seamless from start to finish. As outdoor enthusiasts, we especially appreciated how accommodating they were in allowing us to enjoy a campfire in the charming fenced-in yard.We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

Charming house in a charming town!

The house was so charming with all the arch doorways and cove ceilings and the decor was very pleasant. This house was very spacious and great for families. The owners thought of everything we might need. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Cute house!

This house was so cute and perfect for our stay! The owners were so helpful when I asked them for recommendations on places in the area and were quick with communication. The check in process was easy and they had a helpful list for necessities and leaving. Would recommend to friends and would definitely stay here again!

Butler getaway!

Great location, friendly little town. Far enough away from crowded Door County but close enough to see all the sights and activities. Very comfortable house with plenty of amenities.

This home was spotless, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. Everything worked perfectly, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The house was stocked with everything we needed, utensils, plates, cookware, even a grill and a fire pit. The host of clearly put a lot of thought into what people are going to want when they stay there and live really going above and beyond to make sure it has everything you need. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hidden Gem

We had a great stay at Dana’s place in Algoma! We enjoyed fireworks over Lake Michigan on our first night and it was a great home base for our family adventures. Kitchen and house overall was well stocked with everything we needed for our family vacation away from home. Kids loved the games and all the secret rooms/closets in the house. Great location between Door County and Green Bay, which we spent time at both! Would definitely stay here again!

The cutest place!

Everything was perfect from easy check-in, prompt responses, cleanliness, and nice little amenities like spices or cotton balls in bathroom. Also nice welcome of granola bars, popcorn and taffy. Even had wood for us to start a fire in the nicely taken care of and fenced in backyard. Loved it. Will be back.

The cottage was in the perfect location in town. Able to walk to all of our favorite spots. The cottage was super clean, comfortable, and fit all of our needs! Loved being able to have a bonfire with the fire ring. It was a bummer however that it got super warm at night (it would be 75 on the thermostat). What we set the a/c temp to be (around 68-69) would go up each night unexpectedly. Not sure if there was a setting on the Nest thermostat that we couldn’t figure out or if it was something the owner had pre-set. Definitely recommend this cottage though and would stay again!
