Great stay! Definitely recommend, our only issue was the lake’s water level was really low but that’s something out of the their control. Thankfully the pool and hot tub were amazing!

We a had a wonderful time at SML and the house was the perfect fit. Large enough for all of us and yet room to roam and not feel like we were on top of each other. Enjoyed both the lake ( although, upon arrival we could not keep the boat at the house due to the drought and low lake levels, Mike had an instant solution that worked out perfectly!!) and the pool. It is a great house for multiple families. We will definitely be returning.

This was my family’s second stay at this beautiful home. Perfect layout for our family.The pool and hot tub are awesome! The kitchen has everything you need. The owner spared no expense particularly the in the mattresses.Smith Mountain Lake is one of the prettiest lakes we’ve been to. We rented a pontoon and the guys booked a charter boat and caught so many huge striper.I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

We had a wonderful family gathering here. The property was beautiful and clean, the kitchen pristine. Plenty of room for everyone, Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Our only disappointment was that the paddle boards and kayak were pretty unusable. Paddle boards were under-inflated so that one could not stand or sit on them. The seat on the kayak was broken. Our teens had really looked forward to getting on the lake in these. It was just too difficult to make to manage the gear in poor repair. Additionally, the water level was so low as to make it difficult to access the lake (which, of course, is no fault of the owner). Nevertheless, this part of our stay was a downer. We had fun in other ways, though, and really did enjoy our time together.

As seen in other reviews, we take great pride in helping guests and providing top quality accommodations and amenities. We do expect water levels to return to normal soon as weather cools down!

10/10 stay! This place is EXACTLY as listed. Stayed with my college lacrosse team for spring break and it was plenty of space for 20 adults to comfortably sleep and exist! The outdoor spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the separate cottage were a huge bonus! If we come back to this area, we will certainly stay here again.

Our three families had the best vacation at the Tranquil Shores Estate. The house was spacious but cozy and the kitchen was the perfect space to gather and enjoy a good meal together. It was great to have both the grill and the griddle to make cooking for everyone a breeze. The pool was so warm the kids spent hours in there everyday and we all loved the hot tub. Fishing and paddle boarding were the favorite activities for all the boys!

This was the first VRBO we stayed at that exceed the pictures, and the right up. This place was perfect. It is clean, well maintained, and absolutely perfect. My brother is a chef, and he was exceptionally complimentary of how the kitchen was stocked. Every tool, cooking utensil you could want was there. The Pool was terrific. while the bedrooms (9) of them and bathrooms (7) were well furnished and spotless. Mike the host was terrific, and worked hard to ensure we were comfortable and had everything. I highly recommend this location. You will not be disappointed.
