Our Cozy Beach Front Cottage is located directly on the Delaware Bay in Slaughter Beach! This UNIQUE Waterfront home with Beach Access from the street up to the high-water line. If you have always dreamed of vacationing steps to the beach, this is the home for you! This unique and quirky beachfront cottage is about 1000 square feet, features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and is ONLY STEPS TO THE BEACH. The kitchen is open to the living room and a small dining/breakfast nook. Slaughter Beach has a Fire Department, public tennis/pickleball courts, children play area and public basketball courts. Just a minute to Cedar Creek Marina and the DuPont Nature Center and about 7 miles to the new BayHealth Medical Center. Please note we have installed exterior camera for security purposes, and to monitor that our rental policies are upheld.

Very nice property which seemed more affordable than the rehobeth/Dewey area if you don’t mind about a 45 minute drive (I don’t). But the flare deck area near the shed and the other deck areas with the wooden chairs was very nice to watch the waves and sand crabs. Looking forward to my next stay.

Hi Yesenia and Kevin,Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay. Your cottage was a delightful getaway for the two of us and our dog. We loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the walkway deck to watch the water and the birds—it was incredibly peaceful and inviting. It was also wonderful to be able to walk right down to the water and relax on the beach chairs.The cottage is tastefully decorated and absolutely immaculate. Absolutely perfect for a quick getaway with our girls and dog! Beach access/entry easy and private, plenty of room to park, and even more spacious inside than we expected. Everything was clean and in working order. Host was communicative and quick to respond when we didn’t realize they had already sent us additional help/instructions for check-in. Would definitely recommend to others and we plan on returning in the future!

This clean pet friendly cottage is just steps from Slaughter Beach. This quiet beach house is perfect if you're looking to get away from everything. There's plenty of off street parking, comfy beds & excellent shower heads! There's also a shed about half way to the beach which is convenient for your beach chair storage.

Everything about this trip was great. The house is wonderful, it was clean and had extra items stocked in the kitchen and pantry. Items we often forget to pack, so that attention to detail was truly thoughtful of the host. The house was spacious enough for multiple guests if need be. The proximity to the beach was just awesome. Being able to walk out your door and be so close to the beauty of the bay was rejuvenating. I enjoyed taking the dogs for an early morning walk and collecting the various sea rocks that wash up on the shore. My daughter and her cousins were fascinated by finding and observing the coastal marine life and made exciting discoveries. Yesenia was exceptional at communicating and made sure we were comfortable throughout the process. There are so many options for local restaurants nearby and the Rohoboth boardwalk and Tanger Outlets were just a short drive away. You have the best of both worlds; you can relax by the beach and enjoy the sunset or have a busy day browsing the shops or checking out the action on the boardwalk at Rohoboth. 10 out of 10 in all regards, thank you Yesenia and Kevin for allowing us the opportunity to share this experience!

Great cozy cottage, clean and well stocked with the basics. Loved how close the beach is and how you can sit and watch the bay from the deck. Plenty of parking, awesome quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable mattresses on the beds for a great nights sleep. Thank you for sharing your home!

Cute little place

Great stay for a couple. Cozy home, quiet neighborhood, kitchen had all we needed as we brought food to heat and eat. We went birding at a bunch of parks. The beach was pretty private only a handful of people walking, no loud kids, really relaxing.

Amazing Cozy Cottage

My wife and I wanted to find a place that allowed dogs on the beach, we have a 1 year old Dachshund Shirley. Let me say the Cozy Cottage met all of our needs, the place was amazing! We loved the access to the beach from the property, it was a very quiet and peaceful area, we absolutely loved it and will be back again! Thank you so much Yesenia you’re awesome!

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfy cottage by bay. The yard leads to a path right to your own private beach. Quiet surroundings made our stay peaceful! Would recommend!

We unfortunately had 1 and 1/2 days of nice weather due to hurricane Erin we took advantage of the nearby parks for our exercise with our Labrador retriever. He needs to keep busy.

Hidden Gem

Amazing stay at this lovely property! I stayed with my 70 year old parents for a family beach trip. The home is so convenient, right on a lovely private beach just steps away from the back door. It had everything we needed and more. And bonus that my dog was able to join us - and enjoy the beach as well!

Great for families with small kids

The cozy cottage is just that. We were 2 families with 2 toddlers in each. The cottage was just the right size for us and Slaughter beach is the perfect beach for young families. We'll be back next year
