Fully remodeled in June 2023, unit 218 is bright, beautiful one bedroom, one bathroom oceanfront property in Hale Kai O Kihei welcomes you! This second floor condo is luxurious and comfortable and includes a brand new, top of the line split air conditioning unit. Enjoy cool air in the kitchen and main area and the bedroom. Just a mere 60 feet outside the unit you will find yourself on a breathtaking, serene beach. The location and proximity to the sandy, beautiful beach cannot be beat! Enjoy views of the ocean, take a walk and see basking turtles, whale watch, and enjoy the sunrise and sunset right from the private, second-story lanai. Lanai is equipped with custom, electric, sunshade and newly installed glass sliding doors.

Our beach is very secluded and private. There are no public facilities here (bathrooms, showers, parking lots, etc.), which keeps the crowds located at other beaches. The water is shallow for a very long time until you reach the reef. You can wade with turtles or bask in the sunshine! Beach towels, beach umbrella, and beach chairs provided.

After a day at the beach you will enjoy the custom designed bedroom complete with a king bed. Leave the barn door open to hear the ocean or close it for privacy. The fully stocked kitchen features brand new stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a breakfast bar. Not a detail has been overlooked! The living area includes a memory-foam, comfortable pull-out sofa facing your 55” Smart TV.

A block away are many walkable convenient amenities including numerous restaurants, as well as retail shopping, and a full service grocery store.

Everything and more is provided at this stay - not only is the condo in a great location with amazing sunset views on the lanai, it is furnished with beach chairs and umbrellas, coffee, snacks, and even bathroom amenities. The condo has A/C, a comfortable bed, and is literally a 1 minute walk to a beautiful beach access. Staying in Kihei is great because you have access to many restaurants, bars/shops and the city is centrally located on the island, making easy travel to the airport, Paia, Road to Hana, Big Beach, and Haleakalā summit. We could not have asked for anything better!

Only downside no elevator to carry our luggage, but we definitely got a workout after all the food we ate. And we were big backs during this trip. 3 trips per day to ululani down the street and foodland. We def need to burn some calories. Makes sense. Everything else was amazing. The view was 1000/100. If you're trying to find yourself, this beach's sunset and sunrise will do the trick. Need to cry on the beach? Best spot. The beach was clean, and the provided chairs and umbrella made everything even better. Everything in the condo was clean and relaxing. 10000/100 would recommand and stay again.

Fabulous view, highly recommend

Joe and Jamie’s condo was perfect! Two of us stayed for a week and it was very clean, full kitchen, great location, quiet and most importantly, the view was amazing and just steps to the sand and ocean.

Anniversary Trip

Our first time in Hawaii and your property made it an enjoyable stay. It was nicely furnished and decorated, on the beach and walking distance to restaurants. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, seeing the green turtles lying in the sun and watching the sunsets.

We have spent some wonderfull 4 days in this unit. When we arrived everything was perfectly clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to enter the condo. During our stay we found out, that everthing we could possibly need was existing in the appartment and all appliances were reay for use and in a perfect condition.All furnitures were well maintained and the bathroom/shower was neat and hygienic. Even a board, chairs and other stuff fort he beach were present. Weh ad not expected such a perfect and caring reception.A highlight of the unit is the view over the beutiful beach and the marvellous sunset from the balcony wich we enjoyed every evening. Parking is right in front of the appartment at no cost and all shops can be reached within 5 minutes. Our stay was so marvellous, we almost forgot to leave the condo in time.Alltogether we must say that it was a 5-star experience and we can warmly recommend this unit.

Amazing stay!

This stay was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii! Joe's place was exactly as described. Clean, bright, modern, cozy and it had everything we needed and more. The view is unbeatable and the place is quiet. Loved waking up to the sounds of the waves and wind. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity.

Turtle beach!

Great condo steps from the ocean. Good location to start your day from.Close to shopping and a good size living space that sure beats a hotel.Highlight of trip was watching several sea turtles come up on the beach. Nature up close and personal.If you watch the water, you can see the turtles pop their heads up from time to time as they drift past the beach. Made for a special trip.

Perfect Seaside Condo in Great Location

The condo is in a great location close to restaurants, grocers and at ocean front. The sunsets are spectacular. Relaxing on the balcony during sunrise and sunsets was very enjoyable!! The condo is equipped with kitchen things you need for long stay. Additionally I appreciate having some sunscreens in the cabinet for uses. The only improvement I recommend is to replace the area rugs in living room and bedrooms to give a fresh look of this beautiful renovated space. We also appreciate the beach chairs and umbrella available for use on a beach day. Overall we are very pleased with the condo and have enjoyed our 8 day stay tremendously.

Awesome condo and location

I am originally from Maui and moved to Hilo, Hawaii a few years ago. I was visiting friends for the weekend and this was the perfect condo for me. It was all as described and much more. The location, views, serenity, and comfort were stellar. The remodel, furnishings, and decor are impressive. I will book again on my next visit to Maui.

The view!!!

The lanai is the best part of the unit! Spectacular views of the sunsets and loads of whales. It’s quiet and relaxing. The unit has been nicely remodeled with everything we needed. Mahalo Nui!

This is the place to stay!

We started and ended each day sitting on the balcony listening to the soothing sounds of the surf and swaying palm trees. Other than an occasional passerby, the gorgeous seascape was ours alone in this uncrowded condo complex. The condo itself was very clean, quiet, and stocked with beach chairs and umbrella. The walk to restaurants and a grocery store took only a few short minutes. We couldn’t have found a more ideal unit if we tried!

Absolutely beautiful and perfect!!!

Property was gorgeous, finishes were great, it felt very high end and well designed. Location was ridiculous, walk around the building and you at are at the beach. Beach was so pretty and very family friendly ans you can walk so far out and still be waist deep. We absolutely loved everything about it and would not want to stay anywhere else when we come back. Thanks for the hospitality and thoughtfulness. if i could give it 6+ stars I would.

Destination wedding and vacation

During our nine night stay, the view from the living room of the palms swaying and the ocean was mesmerizing. Beautifully decorated with comfortable bed. The property was quiet. Easy parking. Wi-fi speed was super fast for some "work" things we had to do while there. The unit had a clothes steamer to use for our wedding attire in the bathroom closet. The beach chairs located on the patio were great for beach days. Would stay at Joe's place again in a heartbeat! Loved it.

Incredible! Book this unit!

My family (my husband and two kids) absolutely loved this unit. My husband was a little hesitant to book because it didn't have many reviews, but we had friends who were staying at Hale Kai as well and we took a risk on this property! This unit was incredible. Joe was an amazing host and sent us all the information and answered all of our questions. The unit was exactly as pictured. We loved how close it was to the beach. The beach was awesome and we enjoyed walks on it and saw many turtles. Everything in the unit was brand new and the full kitchen made it easy to cook meals in. We loved our stay and cannot wait to go back!

Perfection!

We had an amazing stay in this newly renovated unit. Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in the door and you could see the ocean down the hallway. The decor, the attention to small details, the furniture, and all of the items you could possibly need while on vacation and then some. Working with Joe was easy and we always received quick responses during our booking process. This unit is exactly as pictured, even more beautiful in person. The views are amazing. It’s hard to not want to be on the balcony taking it all in all day long. The beach felt private and the complex is quiet and friendly. We loved listening to the waves any time we could and the sunsets and quiet mornings were beautiful and peaceful. The complex is within walking distance to food and shopping. The space was big enough for our family of three. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking to stay in the area. I don’t always leave a review but this one is well deserved and we really do hope to visit again on the future. Mahalo Joe!
