What a fantastic place to stay for our girls long-weekend trip! Phyllis was a great host, easy to contact, and provided a lot of good details in advance (like a very close, alternate place to park if the 2-car single-line driveway parking was a little too tight -- you need to back out onto Nubble Road.)The cottage was clean and we loved the space! It's about 50 feet from Fox's Lobster House (fantastic lobster!!) and easy walking distance past Fox's to watch sunrises or sunsets at Nubble Lighthouse.My only concern was the loft area as the third BR. Getting up there meant climbing a high narrow ladder -- hard for us 60 year old's to navigate, so one of us slept on the daybed in the LR instead. Either way, would love to stay here again -- what a treat for a great location and great host! Thanks Phyllis!

We loved staying at the Rose Star Cottage. Perfect set up for our family of four and being so close to the Nubble was a real treat. As was dessert at Dunne’s. We hope to be back again soon!

Rose Star Cottage was Perfect

Rose Star Cottage was the perfect size and location for our vacation to Maine. Phyllis was so helpful before and during our trip. Highly recommend this property and would definitely come back!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at Rose Star cottage. It was very clean and we loved sitting on the porch. Excellent location for a family-short walk to the lighthouse and Dunne’s ice cream. We enjoyed dinner at Fox’s lobster house right next door as well.

Family Spring Break

Took the family on the trip for spring break. We loved the location. You can't beat the sunrises over the ocean and having the lighthouse right out the front door. The hosts were great and helped provide several dining recommendations which we loved.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rose Star Cottage! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the Nubble Lighthouse. The cottage was clean and well-equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cottage was very comfortable, and the screened-in porch was a nice bonus. The host was very accommodating and had excellent communication from beginning to end of our rental. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a relaxing and beautiful getaway!

Fun off season stay!

We rented this space for family to stay over Thanksgiving. It was the perfect spot to spend the weekend! The cottage is roomy and well-appointed, and the views are unmatched. The hosts were also super easy to work with and very communicative. Highly recommend!!

This place is a gem! Perfect location and size. Walking distance to so many places. Cozy, comfy and relaxing. My favorite was the back enclosed porch. Morning coffee while sitting and listening to all the sounds (mostly birds) with a view of the lighthouse out the door. And having all the kitchen supplies needed to make our own meals was great. Highly recommend a stay here and will come back again if we can.

Great stay at the Nubble Lighthouse!

We had a great stay at the Rose Cottage at the Nubble Lighthouse. I love the area and the location was amazing. The cottage had plenty of room for us all and was very comfortable. I had a few questions at the beginning of our stay, and the response time was immediate.

Great Cottage

Great little cottage and convenient location. My family and I have been coming to Maine for four decades and have stayed in many houses/cottages. This was a clean and comfortable cottage. The host was a pleasure to deal with and made sure we had the perfect stay. Location is an A+ and only a short drive to the beach.

Pictures don’t do it justice, much nicer

Adorable cottage is walking distance to many restaurants and waterfront views and Nubble Lighthouse. Close to some fantastic small towns very nearby. Host is friendly and lives nearby. Be sure to eat at Foxys and go see a play at Ogunquit playhouse!

Quintessential Maine Cottage

Four mature “empty nester” former college roommates meeting for our annual reunion. Four lovely days on the Maine coast. We were initially hesitant given the proximity to a popular local restaurant, but that was a bonus. Very quiet, lovely spot. Hosts were thorough and responsive. Multiple sleeping options. Well stocked kitchen. Nothing fancy, just the basics. Would stay again.
