Aston Kaanapali Shores is a 3-star, AAA rated "triple diamond" 10-acre oceanfront resort located on the famous North Kaanapali Beach. A large open-air lobby greets you when you arrive at the resort along with the smell of fresh flowers from the beautiful tropical grounds. A quick walk through the lobby will bring you to the brand-new resort pool, passing a waterfall, hot tubs, and large grassy area. There is a Beach Club Restaurant and Bar where you can grab a Mai Tai and a bite to eat to fulfill the Hawaii vacation dream. Take a walk to the ocean to witness gorgeous sunsets and sandy beaches.

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to weather, heavy surf, strong currents, and tides. Due to Maui's rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don't kill them. Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Apartment had nice furnishings and was very clean. Refrigerator was old and noisy. View was pretty pool, pond and ocean views. Had a problem with the washer that was quickly repaired once I found the correct number to call. My only issue was when booking. This is the only time ever on VRBO that the price kept going up every time I looked it up when trying to decide on a place. They said it was because it had more interest. I was the one interested. Don’t look it up too often. It went up 350 in one week!

Front desk refused to let us use the carts to take our stuff to room so had to make several trips to car to get groceries/luggage. Condo is dated but nice. Would most definitely fix the lock on the lanai door. Even though you are on the 5th floor, security is a big thing. Could never get the wifi to connect to our Alexa machine and we did what the property managers and the book said to do but couldn’t find the box to reset the wifi. Great location and the pools and restaurant were great! Would definitely stay again!
