About this property

Ocean front home with 3 suites, salt water pool, gated and Wifi. Gas BBQ grill.

On the Rocks Beach House has 3 suites, each with their own entrance to accommodate family and friends. Spacious backyard with a saltwater pool and a fabulous view of our beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Just minutes from beaches and great restaurants. Gated, Wi-Fi and A/C in each room. Custom made beds. The Blue Horizon Suite on the second floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, fully equipped kitchen. W/D. The Seashell Suite on the first floor has 2 bedrooms, and one spacious bath, kitchen and small dining room. The Anchor Suite also on the first floor has one bedroom, one bath and a fully equipped kitchenette. A well maintained back yard, with lots of room to sit back and relax while enjoying our beautiful view. Also enjoy our custom salt water pool to cool off from our tropical sunshine. FYI
Our property has 3 structures. The house described above. A smaller structure with our office on site with limited ours. And our commercial structure that is the home of Simple Cafe and the Arecibo Fishing Shop. Neither share our driveway or have direct access to the property. Located directly behind Simple Cafe is our fourth suite, a detached unit that is wheelchair accessible with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. And can be added to your reservation when available if needed. Fees apply.

Quiet area, between 2 extremely close beaches we had to ourselves. We had 3 separate suites- one for my son and family, one for my daughter and grandson and one for my husband and I. The house was immaculate and had all the necessities you could think of. The host was nearby for anything you needed or questions you would have. Lots of nearby restaurants and a grocery store.

On The Rocks…STAR!!!

This was the anchor of our stay. A perfectly balanced home with plenty of space for larger groups, but allows for privacy. Six adults and four children weren’t enough to encompass the space.

Great stay On The Rocks

We had a church group of 6 men who came to worked with the Arecibo Dream Center Esperanza for 5 nights stay. It was quite a comfortable stay. Rebecca was great with communication and onsite if we needed anything. The house was outfitted well, and the beds very comfortable. We'll be back and stay there again, that's for sure!!

Amazing Place!

This is a beautiful place with an amazing ocean front view! The same as the pictures and more! My expectations were very high & it met all of them and more! We are already planning on coming back & staying here again! Location is great. Plenty of beaches in the area to visit and lots of great restaurants, including Simple, the restaurant located right in the front of the place. The host/owner is the sweetest person & great communication. Love it all!!! A must stay!

The hosts are great!Really nice people Location is outstanding. House is great.In the morning when it's very calm and at night when it's very calm, the smell from the nearby sewage plant is intolerable, in fact you can't even go outside at all if the wind comes down.The beach is not accessible from the house because of the very, very sharp rocks

Rebecca is very hospitable and accommodating. We had 9 family members in her home for the Christmas holiday. AC was great, WiFi was great. With our large group her timely responses to real-time questions was greatly appreciated. She was an excellent communicator prior to arrival and that is very important to me as a traveler. Some general tips: put either “On the Rocks Beach House” or “Simple” restaurant in your GPS for the best directions. The house/driveway gate faces the road and is next to the restaurant – the house is not visible from the street, it is behind Simple. Which, incidentally is a fantastic breakfast/brunch place! The house is safe and secure. The back yard is spacious. The yard and both balconies provide nice ambiance for sunrise and sunset viewing and watching the crashing waves. Rebecca is a wealth of local knowledge for both restaurants and beaches. We took her up on many of her suggestions and had a wonderful time at each. We visited El Yunqe and the caves too. We are currently exploring various regions of PR, but if we go back to Arecibo, we will definitely get back in touch with Rebecca! A good time was had by all.

BEST HOSTESS EVER

It's so much more beautiful than the pictures online. Rebecca the owner and hostess of the property was easily available to us. We were a family of 13 ranging from youngest 16 to oldest 76 and we all loved her just the same. It felt like being at home. There is a beach walking distance from there and it was my favorite of all the beaches we visited on the Island. She also made various suggestions to us and we took her up on a few of those suggestions and they were spot on. One of the places was just a few minutes away from the property driving distance. It was spectacular and my family really loved it. She had a salt water pool that was perfect for night time relaxation with the family. There's was also a grill that we used on one of the nights and it was perfect. There were two restaurants attached to the same property which was so convenient. The neighborhood was both safe and quiet. And the place was absolutely perfect for our Family. 💜

Hola, my name is Rebecca and I am originally from Arecibo. I grew up going to the beaches just minutes away from the beach house. After being away for nearly 30 years, I have returned home to enjoy my retirement. A nurse by trade, I am now focusing on hosting guest visiting our beautiful Island. I love to fish, garden and listen to music. And of course eat great food and drinks. You will find many places to eat, drink and try out the local cuisine within minutes of the beach house. Starting with Simple, a locally owned restaurant just outside our gates. They offer all day breakfast and excellent coffee!

What makes this property unique

Our house is unique in that it has a beautiful view of waves crashing into our rocky shore. Though not a swimming area the sound and view will mesmerize you. We have plenty of outdoor seating to sit back and relax. But no worries the beach is less than half a mile away.
