The cabin was lovely-- cozy, rustic but with good amenities, peaceful location, and a short drive from shops and restaurants. Check in was well explained and very straight forward. Wifi, as stated in the listing, is limited, but a short drive up the road is enough to get connection again when needed.
This was my favorite stay (in the east because nothing beats Montana) I wanted to spend a few days in the white mountain area, but didnt want to get caught in the tourist trap area. This cabin was perfect. It was a short but enjoyable ride to get where I wanted to go and then I came back to this quiet and cozy cabin. If you prefer comfort to fancy and quiet over crazy tourists and traffic then this is the place to go.
I grew up in this town and had no idea this classic cabin was tucked away down a road I had traveled on before. It’s a perfect get away, with spotty cellphone service that truly provides a chance to disconnect. We were only 10-15 mins from stores however the cabin had a very welcomed feeling of seclusion and privacy. I will definitely plan to stay here again!
We had a peaceful stay at this rustic cabin in Vermont. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, and the property manager was very responsive and easy to work with. Just be sure to carefully read the listing—there is no Wi-Fi, no internet, and cell service is spotty at best. This is a true off-grid experience, not a glamping setup. Perfect if you’re looking to completely unplug and immerse yourself in nature, but might not be ideal if you’re expecting modern conveniences.
I only gave 4 stars on the last one but here is the reason I had to arm sting the back door and my husband could not operate microwave lol might need an upgrade in that area. Otherwise what an amazing cozy relaxing space. I can’t remember the last time I was so relaxed.
My husband and I planned a trip to Dog Mountain with our two labs Mike & Molly! We looked forward to staying at the cabin with limited Internet and no cable. It was wonderful. The dogs had plenty of space to run, we ate dinner on the back deck and just enjoyed the nature around us. My husband could actually hear a hummingbird fluttering while sitting on the front porch drinking coffee. We maybe saw two cars the entire weekend. The cabin itself was immaculate, well kept, clean and in great shape. The owner was very responsive when asked questions. We look forward to returning!
