The Michiana Apartment #2 is available to quiet, mature, responsible and respectful adults and families only. We do not host guests that are loud, inconsiderate or disrespectful to our other guests and our neighbors.

Michiana #2 is a two bedroom, one bath first floor apartment ideally located on the northeast corner of Michigan Avenue and Indiana Avenue in downtown South Haven, Michigan. Please note there are four steps up to the back deck leading into the apartment from the driveway.

The Michiana's original structure was built in the late 1800s as a large single family home. Years ago it was converted into four separate apartments with two one bedroom apartments and two two bedroom apartments. Apartment #2 has two spacious bedrooms with one queen bed in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has a closet, a dresser and a chair. The living room has comfortable seating as well as a table and chairs for dining or a game of cards. Apartment #2 has had both mechanical and cosmetic updates while still retaining some of the original historic details and finishes. The apartment has a very functional floor plan (see pictures) that can comfortably accommodate a family of four or two adult couples.

There is shared outdoor deck directly adjacent to the apartment with western exposure which gets nice afternoon sun. There is also a Weber grill on the deck making it convenient to grill lunch or dinner outside. Directly next to the deck is the off street parking area so you do not have to carry your luggage or your groceries too far when loading and unloading your car.

The location is truly ideal. The Michiana is what we like to call 'Close, but not too close!'. By this we mean that it is an easy walk home from the restaurants and night life on Phoenix Street, yet far enough away that you can still sleep peacefully at night with the windows open. The walk to South Beach is only three blocks west straight down Michigan Avenue. This is the best of small town Americana! Have your morning coffee and sweet roll on a bench on Phoenix Street and watch people stroll by. Then head back home to change into your swim suit and walk down to the beach for a day of fun in the sun. We feel the Michiana is centrally located between downtown South Haven and the beautiful South Beach.
