The space has one full size bed accommodating up to two guests in the bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room that can sleep up to 2 additional guests. The bathroom is stocked with everything you need including shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath towels and more.



The open floorplan offers a kitchen and living area with sofa and SmartTV where you can kick back and relax following a day of sightseeing or meetings. High-speed Wi-Fi internet is complimentary so you can spend time surfing the web or finishing up work outside of the office, and with ease at the dedicated desk space that is also available.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full access to this entire 1-bedroom English basement apartment, entirely private, with its own entrance, as well as private exit at the backside of the home.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is nestled between two of the best DC neighborhoods of Pet Worth and Columbia Heights. Just five miles north of Capitol Hill, Petworth is one of the largest neighborhoods in the district and is home to approximately 20,000 DC residents. The recently transformed neighborhood is fast becoming a real estate favorite with an abundance of culture, convenient transportation, and stunning homes.



D.C. is undoubtedly a foodie destination, but Columbia Heights showcases some of the best — and most authentic — restaurants and bars that D.C. has to offer. From the mind of James Beard winning chef Tom Cunanan, Bad Saint is a must try for authentic and exploratory Filipino cuisine in a comfortable setting. For top-notch tacos and marvelous margaritas, El Chucho is the best deal in D.C., and their elote just might be some of the best on the East Coast. Columbia Heights’ bars are as diverse and abundant as its people, ranging from charming dives to swanky, intimate cocktail spots. New to the area but want to feel like a lifelong resident? Try Left Door, a speakeasy-style “secret” spot that is sure to wow visitors.



Getting Around:

Columbia Heights METRO station on the GREEN and YELLOW lines is a 15-minute walk or very short cab ride away.



Closest Bus Stop: Columbia Rd NW & Georgia Ave NW (Stop ID: 1001985). Plenty of bus routes in the area (63, 64, 70, 79, H2, H4) with easy access to Gallery Place-Chinatown, Archives, Silver Spring, Tenleytown, AU.



The closest Capitol Bikeshare where you can rent a bike is a very short walk away at Columbia Rd & Georgia Ave NW



Lime, Bird, Lyft, and Uber JUMP scooters (and bikes) are readily available on nearly every corner of the city wherever you can find one, rent them easily using their app and your smartphone



Other Things to Note:

Please note that the sofa bed is a futon-style, which is lower to the ground than a traditional sofa bed, and is not a pull-out sofabed. Please consider this when determining if the sleeping arrangement is suitable for your group.





HOUSE RULES:

No candles allowed to be lit anywhere on the property.

Please respect our neighbors and adhere to “quiet time” from 10 pm to 8 am. **PLEASE NOTE: UNREGISTERED GUESTS ARE NOT allowed in the property during these quiet hours.

To help ensure a safe and respectful stay for our guests and neighbors, reservations may be subject to additional verification prior to check-in. Guests may be asked to provide a valid government-issued ID and additional information related to their stay.



Parties, events, and unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited. All reservations must comply with the property's occupancy limits and house rules.



Local Guest Policy

To help protect the property and maintain a safe environment for our guests and neighbors, we do not accept reservations from local guests residing within the surrounding area. Local reservations may be subject to cancellation. If you are a local resident and believe your stay may qualify for an exception, please contact us prior to booking.



• Please be courteous to the neighbors living around you at ALL times by keeping noise volumes to a reasonable level. From 10 PM - 8 AM please adhere to very strict quiet hours when noise is to be kept at a minimum.



• Please do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products, baby wipes, contraceptives, nor paper towels should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that any of these items have been flushed and clog the plumbing system you could be held responsible for the cost of repair.



• ABSOLUTELY NO Smoking or vaping of any kind inside of the suite.



• ABSOLUTELY NO gatherings causing excessive noise. No guests allowed on the premises that have not been added to the reservation guest count.

**Late checkout may be allowed as long as a minimum 1 hour notice is given and permission is granted. As each turnover is scheduled around our cleaning team and the next guest’s arrival, an unapproved late departure can create significant disruption. If there is a late checkout without prior notification or permission, fees will apply.
