This was a nice remote location surrounded by walking trails and beaches that gave us some relaxing activities to do when we were just hanging around the place. The rooms were comfortable and everything was in good condition. There was no way anyone could have a light on without everyone seeing it (aka waking up) since there were windows in all of the rooms that overlooked the main area. The main bathroom had a tub but no showerhead and the upstairs bathroom, in the master bedroom, had a very compact shower.

Love this place!

The gated community of Harstene Pointe is just ideal with lots of hiking trails, beaches, fire pits and more. The cabin is very private, clean, comfortable and stylish. Natalie is a great communicator too. We hope to return soon and this will be our first choice.

Would like to see upgrades on the following:Desperately need a larger refrigerator.Need more towels.Need a shower head in the downstairs bathroom.Need repairs on the downstairs bedroom door so it shuts.Would be nice to have more chairs available to move around the table.Need additional towels, sponges and cleaning supplies for kitchen sink.Need sheet pans for oven use.

Family trip

Definitely worked for us since it was a smaller group, but still tight. It was clean but not stocked with typical necessities. There isn’t a store on the island ( other than a tiny marina store) so I would have liked to have been prepared prior to coming. We didn’t receive any information until the morning we were traveling. Loved our host though, very communicative and caring!

Annual Family Get Away

As the Momma to 3 grown kids who are all married and some with kids of their own, we can rarely all get together. But each summer we spend a weekend together. This year was the best place by far. We loved the pool, clubhouse, and the beach. The house itself was clean and provided us with enough room. We took long walks everyday and several of us commented on how it felt like being in a lovely state park. I highly recommend this place!! My only suggestion is to be sure you have Check-in instructions before heading there. Cell service becomes non-existent as you near Harstine Island. This caused a slight delay but the home owner was attentive and helpful.
