Great location and comfortable stay. Easy access to Point Ruston and Point Defiance. The corner market was very convenient. We saved a ton of money cooking at home. The kitchen had everything we needed including a French Press and an Air Fryer.

Family visit

The house was located close to family so it was very convenient for visiting. Charming cozy house that was just right for our needs. Cute neighborhood market just across the street made it easy to pick up beverages or pastries. Our dog passed away a month before the visit. The pet fee was refunded with no problem.

Mary, thank you for sharing your experience! I’m so pleased the house was a good fit for your stay and that the location made visiting family easy. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the neighborhood market as well. I’m very sorry for the loss of your dog, and I’m glad we were able to quickly take care of the pet fee refund for you. You’re always welcome back whenever your travels bring you this way.

Great host and location.

We have work being done on our home and wanted to be very close but still feel like home. The host was great to work with, the home is decorated very nice, decluttered and a great layout. It was nice for our dog to be able to run around in the backyard where it was fenced in. But also the neighborhood was nice to take long walks. The mini-mart right across the street is super cute. We grabbed wine, snacks, coffee, pastries that was a plus to be able to just walk to it.

Lovely stay, look forward to going back!

I went with my best friend to a comedy show in Tacoma, and, with there being a drink minimum, it seemed prudent to find a place to stay and we had the benefit of stumbling across this absolute gem. Everything was incredibly clean, and I really appreciated the variety of appliances (air fryer, microwave, coffee maker, etc) or other amenities (shower, dog biscuits, creamer, coffee, etc) that were included. It just seemed so thoughtful to consider those things and having only stayed at a couple of VRBO's before, I hadn't experienced it yet, so that stood out. I also thought it was so neat to just hop over to the store catty-corner to the house to grab any little things needed. Folks there were really nice and the sandwiches great! We did unfortunately arrive and leave during a very rainy day and the slope in front of the house near where the "curb" was a tad slippery, so be careful if that is a concern for you. Aside from that, all of the instructions were helpful, everything worked well. I had a really wonderful stay and when we do come back to Tacoma, we intend to come back here and hopefully stay a few days longer.

Shannon, thank you so much for the thoughtful review! I'm thrilled to hear that you had a great stay and appreciated the amenities provided. It’s wonderful to know that the little touches, like the air fryer, coffee maker, and even dog biscuits, made your stay more comfortable. I’m also glad you found the location convenient, especially with the store just across the street! I do apologize for the slippery slope during the rain, and I appreciate you mentioning it—I’ll be sure to look into making it safer for future guests. I’m really happy that the instructions and everything else worked well for you, and I’d love to welcome you back to Tacoma anytime. I look forward to hosting you again, hopefully for a longer stay next time!
