Make memories in this cute little cottage located directly in front of the dunes and only a few houses down from the dune entrance. Silver Lake is located in Mears, Michigan and offers shorelines along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. While vacationing here you won't want to miss out on the experiences that the massive Silver Lake Sand Dunes have to offer. Rent a jeep of your own or head over to Mac Wood's Dune Rides for an adventurous ride on the sand dunes. Nearby is the Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail that will take you along 22.5 miles of scenic routes. The quaint little town of Pentwater is located just north of the Silver Lake area. Pentwater is the epitome of small-town charm with its shops, food, and ice cream. Don't forget to grab breakfast at Cherry Point, where they offer homemade donuts and treats daily. For dinner, spend an evening at Golden Sands, a small, family-owned restaurant and golf course that will leave a lasting impression. We have been coming to Mears as a family for the last 4 years and this has been the best stay we have had so far! The Charming Cottage was exactly that, charming! The location was perfect and the amenities provided were all we needed! It was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog. Thanks for also having a dog lead outside so he had more space to roam!

We enjoyed staying here! Our family has been coming to Silver Lake for years so we were happy to find a place for us to stay since we have a toddler now. There were plenty of towels and the beds were very comfortable! The location was great, too. It was noisy because it is very close to the ORV access, but we knew this before we booked. The host was so easy to communicate with & the check in/check out process was very simple. Our only “down sides” were that the listing included a grill & there was not one at the property. Also, there were a LOT of spiders & spider webs inside. Overall a good place to stay.

The location is fantastic if you're going to the dunes, which we were. The house was clean and cute. The queen bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable and there was a strong musty smell throughout the house. A broom would have been nice to have so we could sweep the sand during the stay. Towels were well-stocked!

Clean cute little cottage in a great location! The town is pretty quiet this time of year (fall) and not a lot of businesses were open. Would definitely visit and stay again in the spring/summertime!

Great place great location

This house was perfect for our our stay. Close to dune entrance and very nicely updated. Only slightly negative was propane grille was quite dirty. Tried to clean it as best as possible and did work out ok.Overall the stay was great we will book again if in the area.

We have stayed a few times now and love the house. It is a great place for small family and pet friendly.This was the first time staying for more than a long weekend. Only recommendations would be to have cleaning supplies (maybe even a vacuum) available in order to clean sinks bathtub... during a longer stay. We will look to stay again as we still have not bought another camper and come to Silver Lake multiple times a season.
