Sherrie, thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We're thrilled Nomad Retreat provided the perfect getaway for you, and we can't wait to welcome you back!
Very clean and easily accessible. Communication with company was very easy and they were very quick to respond. My only complaint is that one of the neighbors has two dogs that start nonstop barking outside at 3am and don’t stop until well after 7am every single morning.

Amanda, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback on Nomad Retreat. We're pleased to hear you found the space clean and easily accessible, and that our team was responsive and helpful throughout your stay. However, we’re truly sorry about the noise from the neighboring dogs, especially during the early morning hours. While this is unfortunately beyond our direct control, we appreciate you bringing it to our attention so we can let the homeowner know and explore possible solutions. Thank you again for your honest feedback, and we hope we'll get the opportunity to host you again in the future so we can provide you with a 5-star stay from start to finish!
The house was very clean and comfortable. I really liked the outdoor space. It felt very private and the fire pit was really nice. The hot tub is old and doesn't work well.

Lora, we're so pleased to hear you had an amazing getaway at Nomad Retreat and that the home was clean and comfortable. The hot tub is relatively new (purchased last year), but it can occasionally switch from standard mode which can impact the heating. Based on your feedback, we've added a helpful guide to help guests troubleshoot if and when this happens. We appreciate your review and hope you'll keep us in mind for future getaways to the Asheville area!
This place is great if you're looking for a getaway from the busy city, but want to be centrally located to various attractions. We enjoyed our drives when we visited Asheville and other neighbooring towns anyway, which made our trip even better. The hot tub, board games, record player and spacious layout was great for entertainment. The views were beautiful! My dog enjoyed the place as much as we did! The kitchen has anything you'd need, plus more. And there are extra blankets for brisk mornings to sit outside and enjoy coffee.

Tayor, we're delighted that you and your pup had such a peaceful and fantastic stay at Nomad Retreat and enjoyed the home's many amenities, beautiful views, and private yet convenient location close to area attractions. We appreciate you recommending Greybeard Rentals and this home to fellow travelers, and we hope to host you again soon!
Nomad retreat was a great spot in Old Fort! It was super clean, great amenities with the coffee and toiletries included. We even had a welcome bag of snacks. My only complaints were the pillows were all super firm and huge and there weren’t any flatter or softer ones to chose from. There was also a very faint dog smell when you walked in, but it didn’t bother me. Perfect spot and perfect for our needs. Beautiful mountain sunset every night and fireflies! Be sure to check out the new Watershed as a cool hang out in Old Fort. Awesome for kids and adults.

Kelly, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re so happy to hear Nomad Retreat was a great fit and that you enjoyed the extra touches and gorgeous mountain sunsets. Thank you for your feedback about the pillows and faint dog smell; we’ll definitely pass that along to our team to help improve future stays. We appreciate your review and shoutout to the new Watershed hangout spot in Old Fort, and we hope to host you again soon!
Great little house in Old Fort. The only negative was the hot tub was pretty grungy. My wife would not go in and I only used it a couple of times. Tech came out and cleaned filter and added chemicals, but I suspect it needs a drain and detail. Pretty disappointing as I was recovering from surgery and was really looking forward to enjoying the hot tub. Two excellent breweries in town. Overall enjoyable stay.

Joseph, thank you so much for reviewing your recent stay at Nomad Retreat! While we're pleased to hear that you had an overall great stay and enjoyed the mountain location, we are so sorry for the issue you encountered with the hot tub. For your assurance, our hot tubs are thoroughly cleaned and tested on a weekly basis, and they are drained and detailed monthly. We appreciate you sharing your valuable feedback with us, and we hope that you will consider staying with us again when you return to the area!
