This unit is in a perfect location, close to the mountain for skiing. It's cozy and comfortable for up to six people. Not fancy or new, but clean and stocked with the necessities.

Thank you, Mia! We appreciate the review and hearing about your positive experience. Our goal is to provide a clean and comfortable space to each of our guests. Thanks again and hope to see you back again in the future!
Being able to have our dog was great, but otherwise the place wasn’t really aligned with the 1200/night price tag.

Baat, thank you for taking time to review our property. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the fact the unit was pet friendly. These units are certainly hard to come by, especially during peak season which would explain the elevated rate. We hope to see you back again soon!
Nice place. It doesn’t have a lot of extras but the location and the fact that it is dog friendly was very nice.

Very clean, small rooms but comfortable beds and bigger living room. Great location near slopes.

Nice location in Steamboat springs
This location was perfect. Close to downtown and also fishing and hiking spots. House was comfortable with well stocked kitchen supplies. Nice grill and outside table. Would have liked the floors to have been washed before checking in but otherwise pretty clean.

Beth, thank you for your review. We value your feedback and glad to hear it was a good trip overall, but will work towards ensuring future guests receive a more consistent clean that is consistent with our standards. We hope to see you back again, allowing us another chance to deliver a 5 star experience.
The property was very pet friendly which was a benefit but the cleaning was not great. We found an old pair of fake eyelashes on the floor of the bathroom and under the counters in the kitchen was definitely dirty. The location is great for access to the ski resort and the free parking is nice. We felt a little uncomfortable with so many keep out signs and warnings about the neighbors which made it feel like we were not welcome there with our small dog. There were also no chairs set up outside which was disappointing to not be able to enjoy the much warmer weather for this time of year. All around it was fine but for the price point I agree that the pet friendly was really the main benefit.

Thank you, Michelle. This feedback is very important to us and appreciate your sharing your experience. We are deeply sorry to hear the condition you found the unit, this is not consistent with our standards and apologize your unit was in this condition upon your arrival. We have followed up with our team in hopes of ensuring no other guests experience this upon arrival. The signage was put in place to deter folks from accessing the neighbor's hill for sledding during the winter months but do understand the perception and will rethink our approach in this effort. Lastly, the unit does have patio furniture but typically is not brought out until later in the spring with the possibility of winter weather. This year's early spring has created some unique challenges in that regard.
Overall we had a great stay! The hosts provided all the basics and everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and be comfortable in the home. The location and views were really nice too! It’s one of the few places that accommodates dogs. However, the price is pretty expensive for how outdated the property is. I would stay there again for a lesser cost!

Thanks for staying with us and taking the time to leave a review. We are glad you enjoyed the home's location and views and the fact that you were able to bring your dog along with you, which is indeed a rare find in Steamboat. Thanks for your feedback on rates, we do keep in line with comparable properties in the area, especially taking into consideration that it is dog friendly.
Family of 4 with adult children. Comfortable home. Great location. We drove about 5 minutes (no traffic) to free Meadows lot parking. Took free, quick shuttle to bottom of mountain. Very short lines to gondola even at peak times. About 8 min drive into Steamboat Springs town.

Thank you, Judith. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our guest experience. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the location. The basement is a bit rough, which is why it isn’t directly listed on our listing. Thanks again and hope to see you back again in the future!
The property was in a great location for access to mountain. Also had a great little park a few houses away where our dog could run. The management company was easy to work with and the property was clean. My only issue was the space was a little odd. Tiny (but well equipped)kitchen and dining area. The bathrooms were newly remodeled with great showers. The space worked ok for us with 3 adults but it would be tight with more people.

Karen, thanks for your review! The property definitely offers some unique aspects, in addition to a few comforts of home. We are glad to hear it was a great stay for you all, thanks for making this trip a Grand Adventure!
Beautiful location, comfy beds. Property management people were friendly, responsive, and helpful, which was so appreciated. We like staying up on the hill where it’s quiet and picturesque. Check with the property owner if you plan to cook in the kitchen to see if they have what you need. Kitchen could use some more amenities like a pasta strainer, blender, serving utensils etc.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the feedback on kitchen items, we will work with the owners and get the kitchen supplies more fully stocked. Come back again soon!
Generally comfortable for 5 adults, a 5-year-old, and a dog. Inside dining was tight for this group but the patio was very nice for al fresco dinners. One caveat— the stairs to two of the bedrooms and the second bath are narrow and the flooring is a bit slick. We were careful and the dog learned to be.

Thank you Greg for your review, we certainly understand the space can be tight for larger groups. We are glad to hear your enjoyed your stay and hope to see you back again in the future!
The property was very clean. The mattresses were very comfortable which is a rarity in my experience at vacation rentals. The property is located away from downtown which I liked but was not far from downtown Steamboat Springs. There were multiple places to eat that were within walking distance from the place. Somehow I missed in the listing that the unit is an attached duplex but that wasn’t really an issue. It served as a good base for our activities.

Thank you, Mike, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay! We agree, it's a special property to offers both a remote feel as well as certain conveniences! We hope to see you back again soon!
An older property, well maintained and equipped. Convenient to the lifts but car is necessary. The bus is close but too far to walk in ski boots, it’s a real pity they don’t swing by this road. You could rent a locker and change boots at the base. Lovely alpenglow sunsets in the valley from the living room window.

James, thank you for the great review! I agree, this unit certainly has personality, one of the reasons we enjoy it so much. We're glad you had a great time and hopefully you took a lot of sunset photos... Otherwise you might have to come back again, wouldn't that be horrible? :) Thank you for making our job easy!
