The views from this property are absolutely beautiful—you can look out over Coral Bay and toward the BVIs, and the deck is a wonderful place to take it all in. We also appreciated the beach chairs and kitchen basics provided.One important note for future guests: there are A LOT of stairs, more than we realized from the listing photos. We counted about 90 steps from the parking area down to the main level, plus another 11 to the lower bedroom—101 total. We’re able-bodied and managed fine, but carrying luggage was definitely a workout! Pack light, and anyone with mobility limitations should take this into consideration.For clarity, there are bathroom facilities on both levels. The lower bedroom has a toilet and sink, while the main level has the shower and another bathroom near the loft ladder.We unfortunately experienced a multi-day island power outage during our stay, and the property does not have a generator. The hosts were responsive and brought us ice to help during the outage.Overall, the incredible views are definitely the highlight of this unique Coral Bay property.

An amazing stay at Blue Wrasse. It came recommended from friends and was exactly the type of accomodations that fit us. We felt a part fo the landscape and place. Easy access to everything on the east end. We explored some remote bays and enjoyed the incredible views every morning and evening.

We loved everything about the Blue Wrasse. We started every day with coffee and the fabulous view from the deck. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed, the bed was comfy, and did I mention the view from the deck? We were sad to leave. The Blue Wrasse made our trip.

My daughter and I stayed here and loved it. It was quiet with an unbelievable view and constant breeze. I spent every morning and evening on the deck. The main room feels small when you first arrive but the master bedroom, loft, porch and deck make it very roomy with plenty of space. The water is not drinkable with low pressure but that didn't matter to us. The outdoor shower was wonderful with the same view as the deck. It had everything we needed and the beach chairs & cooler were very useful. The steps to get back up to the driveway were a lot so be prepared. I didn't mind the workout. The location was great. Close to everything around Coral Bay and more calm & quiet than Cruz Bay. All the beaches we went to were around 10-20 minutes away driving 15-20 mph. There are 2 markets and a few restaurants close by. The Cantina was our favorite. Everything about our trip was perfect and we would definitely stay here again. We miss it already!

Perfect location for access to beaches, hiking and restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking essentials plus some spices, oils, etc.which made cooking at "home" quick and easy. Sunrise greets you every morning from the very comfortable downstairs bedroom and moorise from the spacious deck is a perfect end to every day. The lush vegetation around the house made it feel secluded and very private. The chairs and cooler at the house made for perfect beach days. The pictures and description were spot on and we would definitely love to stay at Blue Wrasse on another trip to St. John.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house is the perfect mix of cozy and well-equipped, with an incredibly comfortable bed that made for great sleep. We spent every morning on the deck with coffee; the sunrise views are breathtaking and make every step of those stairs completely worth it.The property felt like a secluded tropical retreat. We loved the local "neighbors", from wild goats on the road to hermit crabs under the stairs and geckos on the deck. The nighttime sounds of the wildlife were so soothing. A huge thank you to the property managers, Leonarda and Nina, who were kind, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A beautiful stay in a stunning area!

Wonderful week!

Great location near Coral Bay, super close to the market, restaurants, as well as some incredible beaches such as Salt Pond. Very clean property and check in and out was smooth. The deck was very well-kept, and they had all the amenities needed for a great stay. Would absolutely stay at Blue Wrasse again!

We had a great time visiting the Blue Wrasse. The place was as advertised with a beautiful deck and a great view. The outdoor shower was a nice amenity, along with a well stocked kitchen. The site manager was very responsive and helpful. I got stung by a wasp going down the stairs, so be careful of nests there. Also, water is not potable so will need to bring your own water. All considered, was a great stay!

Another fantastic stays at the Blue Wrasse

This was our 2nd time staying at Blue Wrasse. We love the Coral Bay side of St John and this home is perfect for the 2 of us. Great views and amenities- exactly as described and pictured. Thank you again for a wonderful stay- we will definitely be back again!

Wonderful Stay

Blue Wrasse is the perfect place to stay if you want to get away from the busier Cruz Bay side of the island. The view is fantastic but still conveniently close to the stores and restaurants of Coral Bay. Tom and Jackie, the property managers, were so nice and helpful and gave us lots of tips on what to see and where to go. Will definitely be back next time I’m on St John!
