Great Venue near Shenandoah National Park

We spent the weekend here to explore Shenandoah National Park. The house is near the park and Luray Caverns. The rooms were spacious and clean. A great choice if you’re looking to visit the area.

Heaven in Shenandoah Valley

My family loved the rental and the area!! Great hikes in Shenandoah National Park, quaint little town with the beautiful Luray Caverns… a beautiful cavern, excursions to local Battlefields, and a very handy Walmart. We sat outside by the fire pit, and one night we saw the Northern Lights!!! A real treat! We relaxed in the hot tub and heated pool!! We also enjoyed the game room! Great Vacay!

Nice new house

The house is apparently new this year (2023) and well set up but some things, namely the pool and landscaping are still a work in progress. It fit eight of us comfortably. Nice living space and good kitchen, and wifi was decent.

Graat stay but spotty connection

Everything was great except internet connection and signal. Even the wifi wouldnt allow me to get any work done or play music l, but overall it was a good stay as the location was great and the cabin was clean.

Not as advertised/Misleading

After contacting the host about another house, the host redirected us to this house. We booked a 3 night stay after the host said the pool was heated, and we were told the pool was ready to go.Upon arrival, the pool was not finished being cleaned and filled. A maintenance crew arrived a couple of hours later. After that, the pool never heated up the entire stay. When we entered the house, there were bugs everywhere, dead and alive. They were on the towels, in the beds, by every window and door.We spent the first day and a half cleaning just to be able to try to relax. We cleaned up dead bugs constantly. Under the beds was filthy. Under the two couches in the living room have seemingly never been cleaned. I moved the couches to sweep and found an old, spilled milk bottle. There was old dirty laundry stuffed in the recliners in the loft. The kitchen faucet was maddening. It would NOT stay off, the handle was loose enough to turn itself back on. The head of the faucet was velcro to the base which was not hold it. The kitchen also had no cleaning supplies and the trash cabinet was filthy. The microwave above the stove was broken.Grill was gross and wouldn't turn on. Cornhole boards were trashed, one was in the woods behind the house. Air hockey table puck was cracked. Construction debris around the house. Overgrown weeds along the cracked brick path.We left a day early. Host has ghosted me.DO NOT stay here!
