The leaves will be changing before you know it! Book your fall getaway today. Come and enjoy this unique modern cabin with 2 bedrooms and a sweet deck overlooking the valley. Dog friendly! 2 DOG MAXIMUM - $40 per night pet fee (not per dog) plus deposit. This is a 100% NON-SMOKING property - inside and out (no tobacco, vape or marijuana). Close to everything, just off the Peak to Peak Hwy 119 but it feels secluded. Walking distance to the liquor store and Roy's Last Shot Saloon. Enjoy time on the deck around the fire table and cook your favorite meals on the grill. Mountain bike or hike at one of the many nearby trails or State Parks. Eldora ski resort is 20 minutes away. Great river fishing spots in nearby Rollinsville or Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Nederland is just 7 miles away where you can get groceries, dine, shop and enjoy pizza, ice cream or cocktails. Historic Gambling towns, Black Hawk and Central City are less than 20 minutes away in the other direction. Loveland, Summit County, Boulder, Idaho Springs and Estes Park are also very close. Snuggle up in front of the fireplace in the cozy living room to watch a movie on the large flat screen Smart TV, play games or read a book. Both bedrooms also have Smart TVs. Plenty of parking. Free WIFI. Minimum age to book is 25 years old. *WIFI and Streaming services can be spotty and slow due to mountain internet services. This property is not ideal for children under 10. If you plan to bring a dog(s) be sure to select the Pet option when you inquire so that it will include the daily fee. There is no washer/dryer onsite but there are nearby laundromats. All wheel drive or 4x4 is recommended during the winter months because driveway is long and plows may be delayed.

Great Pit Stop

Cute cabin in a great spot for our purposes. Host quick and responsive to all communication. Check in and out was a breeze. Great food spots in Rollinsville and Nederland.

Perfect Cabin

We stayed here for an extended weekend and it was the perfect stay. The cabin is just as pictured and so beautifully decorated, and clean. The host is very nice and attentive. This cabin has everything you need and more. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice cabin in the woods. We will for sure return if we are back in the area.

Great mountain getaway

The owner was very responsive both prior to and during our stay. We had a wonderful time hiking some of the local trails. The cabin was perfect! Some of our group went to the local casinos, which are very convenient.

Peaceful, Relaxing and Clean Cabin!

The cabin was furnished with new, clean and comfortable items. The patio was lovely! Coffee/water/snacks are all there when you arrive. The cabin has everything you need! A quick walk down the road leads you to a provisions store and Last Shot Saloon, which has a delicious breakfast and food all day. There's wifi at the cabin, but otherwise cell service is spotty. Kelli sent all the information that you need to enjoy your stay. I would definitely stay here again!!

Exactly as Advertised

This cabin is precisely as advertised, which is a rarity. Beautifully renovated/modernized cabin, inside and out, with all the amenities you could want. Everything was fully functional-no glitches-and very clean, cleaner than cabins that didn’t permit dogs. The owner was very thorough in providing all the information needed for a carefree stay.

Kelli and Kelli's property were both a pleasure to experience. Very communicative from booking to the end of our stay. She did a great job with this property. Was great to be with my family in a clean inviting space. Everything was clean, communication was excellent, represented properly.. we got what we paid for and THAT is sooo appreciated(you know what a disappointment it is when you get rug pulled). Wonderful cabin in Black Hawk!

Kelli was wonderful to work with and always responded quickly! The cabin itself has been beautifully remodeled and is very modern with great attention to detail. Definitely would recommend staying here, about a 15 to 20 minute drive to Nederland, plus tons of close hikes!

Cozy Cabin Haven for a Romantic Christmas Getaway!

We had an incredible Christmas getaway at this charming cabin. The place was fully stocked, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. The host's helpfulness added a personal touch, ensuring we had everything we needed. From the warm fireplace to the breathtaking views, this cabin was the perfect setting for a romantic holiday escape. We loved it so much – a definite must-book experience!

Modern CO Cabin Experience

We had a great time staying at this modern cosy cabin near Black Hawk, CO. The cabin is recently remodeled with most modern amenities. It's has plenty of room for two & can handle up to 4. Just be aware that there is a single bathroom for the entire cabin. It's a short drive to Eldora where my wife & I skied for a few days. It's also close to the quaint town of Nederland where you can find esoteric coffee shops & quaint restaurants with delicious food. The owners were very easy to work with & check-in was a breeze.

We Are Coming Back!

This cabin was exactly as described and was the perfect getaway for our anniversary trip. My husband and I loved how cozy and adorable the cabin was. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evenings. The host, Kelli, was great! She communicated well with us, and was incredibly flexible with us when we wanted to extend our stay! We are not pet owners ourselves, and we knew the cabin was dog friendly, but one of the things we noted was some dog hair. Also, the neighbors were very loud all hours of the day and night- however, this cannot be attributed to our host at all. We plan to visit again in the future!!

This cabin was so clean and amazingly remodeled. The touches were very nice. The bed and couch were very cozy! We really enjoyed our time. Kelli was extremely responsive and we felt very comfortable during our stay. It was fun to sit on the deck with the fire and watch the sun go down. We even saw a moose! There are neighbors nearby, but the way the house is situated on the lot, it still affords privacy. We will be back next time we are looking to stay in the area!

The cabin looks just like the photos. It is clean and for me was a great place to get use to the altitude. i was able to hang out easily in Golden and come back at night. i enjoyed the fireplace. It was quiet space.

Check in/check out was quick and easy (easiest check in we’ve had!). Very clean - LOVED the magnetic screen on the front door to let the breeze through without the bugs. Modern appliances/fixtures - everything was in excellent condition. Internet was a bit slow, but come on, it’s the mountains! Loved sitting on the porch and watching hummingbirds - the fire pit was perfect to take the chill off the evening air. Location was great, had no trouble finding it - we spent a lot of time in Nederland and it was a super simple drive there and back. Definitely would stay again

Favorite cabin in the woods

This cabin in the woods was absolutely our favorite!! It was clean, quiet and had everything you could need. Kelli thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The location was very good, we traveled to Rocky Mountain National Park, Nederlander, Boulder, Blackhawk and Golden. Highly recommend her home!!

We enjoyed the proximity to Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Cabin is cute and well equipped. We loved watching the hummingbirds from the deck and the fire pit was a great addition on a cool summer evening. The owner is a great communicator.

Wonderful mountain getaway

Frankie's Cabin was perfect for a quick holiday getaway for us and our dog! Clean, modern, had all the amenities we needed, and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Lovely patio and fire table, too. Highly recommend!

Why they chose this property

The cabin sits back off the road and overlooks the valley. It feels like you are secluded but you have modern conveniences close by and it's so easy to get to the main road. It is conveniently located just an hour away from Denver and 30 minutes from Boulder and close to many State Parks and trails. Hiking, mountain biking, gambling, skiing, dining and fishing are all close by.

What makes this property unique

The unique modern design is like no other but still feels very cozy and rustic. The home was originally built as a summer cabin by Denver residents in the 1950's.
