New! Tasteful, fresh 3BR on quiet street in Calumet
Welcome to our newly renovated and charming home nestled on a quiet street in the heart of Calumet. We preserved the character of this old home while making modern upgrades to create an inviting retreat for your getaway. Here, you'll have easy access to local coffee shops, eateries, outdoor adventure and cultural attractions.
Whether you're seeking adventure or looking to unwind while in town for business or college functions, our home is the perfect spot for your unforgettable stay.
We just completed renovating this entire home. It's the last home on a quiet street with neighbors on one side and a yard on the other.
The three seasons porch welcomes you into the fresh, airy first floor. The cozy living room has a large flatscreen TV, which leads into a dining area that is open to the kitchen and an island with stools. There is a half-bath, enclosed back porch (ideal for winter gear, jackets, and outdoor adventure gear) and a laundry room all off of the back of the kitchen.
The upstairs is all freshly carpeted and painted with a full bathroom and three simple but tasteful bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds, and the third has a full. Bordering the yard is a slow street, with the snowmobile trail just beyond that. This will offer winter sports enthusiasts the most convenient entrance to the trails.

The property was very clean & had everything that we needed for a long weekend while visiting our student at Michigan Tech. We would definitely stay here again.

Well stocked and comfortable for a home away from home.
Very clean, very bright, nicely remodeled old mining house. Lots of windows and cooling units, and the location was just right for all the activities we had planned. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
Simple but very comfortable home! It had everythng we needed. It was perfect for our short stay in town for a wedding. Walking distance to downtown. There was construction all around, but homeowner let us know before arriving. We would definitely stay there again.
Very clean and bright house in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room to relax, comfortable beds and a nice, hot shower. The town is charming and I wish we had more yime to check out the antique shops.
The location is quiet and close to town, the beds are comfy and it is so very clean. We also appreciated the well supplied kitchen. We would stay here again ( :
Although the view across the street is less than appealing, the house was nearly perfect for us. There were just a few additional accommodations we would have appreciated, but overall, we had a really nice stay during our visit with family in Lake Linden.
We were so pleased with this property and the host. We were provided with all the details we needed well before we arrived. The home was very clean. It's been nicely remodeled. Everything feels new. It was in a quiet neighborhood and we were able to sleep well. We will look to stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay in the Keeweenaw peninsula with this house as our home base. House was clean and as described. Our family enjoyed the fresh carpeting and family time in the updated kitchen.
The house is just as described and pictured and worked perfectly for our extended family while we were in the area for our son and DIL's graduations from MTU. Jana was responsive and quickly resolved a communication issue. It was a great place to stay!
Wonderfully refurbished and clean home in easy walking distance of Calumet. It was comfortable and had nearly everything we needed. My wife suggested maybe having a blow dryer would be nice but it was not a problem at all. Everything looked and worked great. I had read other reviews noting that the property across the street was pretty blighted, and that was indeed the case, but don’t let that stop you. The location was quiet and felt safe. It was a great home base for exploring everything the Keweenaw has to offer, from Houghton to Copper Harbor. Overall, a good value for the price.Thank you for an excellent stay!

Nicely remodeled home
The inside of the home was very nice and had everything you needed. The town it is in has seen better days. The house across the street has a bit of a junkyard feel (broken-down cars and trash). I would stay here again but I would have liked to have seen the outside/neighborhood before showing up.
I know how old this house is as my great grandfather lived a few houses away in the days of mining - but this house looked and felt like it was brand new! I could not have been more pleased with this rental.
Great location, just a few minute walk to the heart of Calumet. It's also a short drive to several historical sites to the north and south. Venture a little further to Copper Harbor, and if you do, be sure to grab some baked goods at the ferry dock!
Clean relaxing house owners are easy to reach and fix any problems of you have any! I would stay again however when we stayed it was unreasonably HOT 90 and with only one window A/C unit upstairs onmy one room ever got cool enough others extremely hott... tthe description of the propert
House was clean and very nice. Location was very close to downtown calumet. Quiet neighborhood. Good internet for the kids. Only thing i would say is it could use more closet space or an armoire in the bedrooms.
