Location, location. location!Villa Makax is a truly fantastic property in a wonderful location...if you are looking for a private beach, a great pool, piece & quiet and to be away from the crowds over by the ferry pier side of the island. Palapa Lee is accurately described in the listing and we would not hesitate to stay again. We spent 5 days in a golf cart exploring the many wonderful places on this beautiful island. If you didn't want to rent a golf cart, a public bus runs right by the property every 20-30 minutes all day. Steve was quick to respond on any calls with questions and very helpful.

Serine, tranquil, solitude. An excellent on beach location away from the hustle bustle of the downtown area, but a quick Golf cart ride to the action when desired. Our Hosts were delightful! Very Recommended!!

Steve and Lindell welcomed us after we settled in. Very relaxing setting and mostly calm waters on this side of the island. The golf cart rental we arranged through their contract was superb! Came and refilled with gas whenever we needed it. It was so much fun exploring the island! We will definitely come again!

Love our stay!

My husband and I stayed on the property for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed it! Steve and his family were very friendly and the place was nice and quiet! We will definitely visit again!

Awesome place! Hosts were wonderful. The place had an awesome pool, steps to a private beach.

Relaxing, quiet, helpful hosts. We rented a cart for the week, definitely the way to go. The pool was wonderful, private beach steps from our cabana. Great breakfast place 2 minutes from the front door. We were into quiet, relaxation and local food and drinks, the area did not disappoint.

Tranquil and beautiful

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed how private the property was but still close to activities when we wanted. Steve and Lindell are wonderful people and we lived how they enjoy sharing their lifestyle with visitors. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us so that we could make memories. Steve and Lindell were amazing. Beautiful accommodations, wonderful salt water pool, and views. We really enjoyed the location on the island, would recommend renting a golf cart.

Slice of Heaven

Steven has found a remarkable spot on Isla Mujeres. These bungalows sit on what’s basically a private beach because very few people come all the way out to Sac Baja. So you get access to one of the best beaches on the island without all of the crowds you see on Playa Norte. This retreat has friendly neighbors, excellent property management, easy access to the island, and well-maintained amenities.

Wonderful Place

Everything was Great. No problem with anything. Location you’ll need a golf cart or taxi. Pool was real nice. They have a friendly little dog that’s adorable. We would definitely stay here again, Thank you

Palapa paradise

When we stayed here we had our morning coffee under the beach palapa while we watched the birds dive for fish in the ocean. At night there is a very nice view of Cancun from the property and some times the hotels will have fireworks. The sleeping palapa had a nice bed, little kitchen and a tile bathroom. It is a quiet and comfortable little house and property, I would totally recommend this place.

Private feeling, good location

There is no longer a quiet part of the island, but this comes closest. We especially enjoyed our shaded veranda with a great view. Steve was friendly, efficient, respected privacy, and arranged for on-site Covid testing for the trip home to US.

Nice private beach

We really enjoyed the nice private beach but the house made us feel like we were glamping. A few bugs, listened to care taker dog barking all night and a water leak had us checked out early headed fo a different location.
