Welcome to our rental!

Skip the high cost and limited space of a hotel and enjoy your stay at Mickey's Poolside Paradise. The house has a spacious backyard with private pool that can be heated for an additional fee. Plenty of space to splash around and BBQ or enjoy the sunshine after a day of exploring the nearby beaches or going to Disneyland!

The home is on a quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac just a few feet from a LARGE park. The park has two playgrounds, basketball, handball, soccer and baseball areas. You can easily walk the 400 FEET to the park at night and watch the amazing Disneyland Fireworks Display!

The home itself boasts over 1,800 square feet with 3 Disney themed bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living/dining area for your family to relax in! There is a sparkling pool with chaise lounges and outside sofa so everyone can enjoy sunny Southern California! (there is a $75 (City Tax Included) charge to heat the pool. If this is done once during your stay it usually lasts a couple of days).

The house has recently been remodeled with new appliances and furniture and has an open floor plan so you will feel connected as everyone plays in the pool or spends time in the living room. The living room has large comfortable family couch, a sleeper sofa, premium cable TV, Wireless WIFI throughout, large smart TV, perfect for relaxing with a movie after a long day out!

The Cinderella themed master bedroom has one queen bed, a 40 inch T.V. ALL beds have premium down comforters for a luxurious nights sleep!

In order to enhance your stay we offer a pack and play, high chair, stroller and more for the little ones.

The home is very centrally located just a short walk to countless restaurants, grocery stores, including COSTCO, Downtown Disney, movie theaters, restaurants, Anaheim Angels Baseball, Honda Center (concerts, circus & shows), the Anaheim Convention Center and many more attractions!

With all of these features we are certain you will have a magical stay!!

Also worth noting there is a mandatory Anaheim City Tax of 15% that is charged anywhere you stay. This is paid prior to arrival and can be paid through VRBO/HOMEAWAY's site. The caretaker has an apartment around the corner of the house so she is there to assist you if something is needed (the apartment is completely independent from the house) but also lives elsewhere so you have complete privacy as she comes to the property only as needed.

Great location, great host!

Stayed here with my husband and 2 sons for some golf and Disney time. The house was perfect for what we needed. It took us around 30 minutes to walk to and from the parks, we chose to uber a few times too and it was very inexpensive. The host, Carmen, and her husband were very sweet and accommodating! Definitely recommend!

Conveniently Located Close to Disney

If you're looking for a cozy home that is super close to Disneyland, look no further. This home is centrally located and while it's not really walking distance to Disneyland if you have little ones in tow, it is a short 5 minute drive to Downtown Disney. The owners are responsive and they truly care about their guests. The house is not huge, but since you'll be spending most of your day at the parks, this is a great option for your Disney vacation.

So Quiet

Such an amazing vacation. The house had all the amenities. We absolutely loved it. Most of all the neighborhood was so quiet. Did not hear sirens, felt completely safe, close to Disney but yet felt like we were far away. The house was beautiful, plenty of room. The pool was perfect. Definitely would recommend this place to rent and hope to go back myself.

Best Trip Ever!

Carmen was fantastic! The house was exactly what we needed. Not quite close enough to walk to Disney but only a 5-10 minute Uber ride. The rooms were perfect, the pool was awesome (they even have a fence for the little ones,) and the kitchen was fully equipped. Carmen even left my son a birthday present! Can’t wait to go back!

Outstanding Property & Owners

Property owner, Carmen, stocked the home with everything a little family could possibly need. Being 2500 miles from home, it was comforting to know that she understood the challenges of traveling. Our family had a wonderful time staying there - the "Disney" themed rooms were the highlight of our children's stay! We were pleasantly surprised when Carmen showed up during our check out with Chocolates for the kids! So thoughtful and caring! Thank you for an amazing stay. We hope to return someday soon! Judi

Deceptive on proximity to Disney

Advertised as 2 blocks from Disney when reality is miles away & rides needed vs anticipating walking. Nice house with all necessities. But owner was slow to respond with clear check in directions & never provided WiFi info despite numerous requests. Owner uses garage for other purposes so bit unsettling for grandma to hear them doing laundry & moving around when she was there alone after long Disney park days.

AMAZING!!

We recently spent 1 week at this home with our 2 children and it was perfect. Very close to Disney, grocery stores, and all other amenities. clean and well equipped. The pool area was awesome and it was nice to have a home to come back to after busy days at the parks. Carmen and Jose were extremely kind and super helpful. They went over and above our expectations to make our stay extra special. We would stay here again in a minute and would recommend this property to anyone!

Amazing Vacation

Jose & Carmen were the very best hosts anybody could ask for. The house was comfortable and clean, just as represented here. We traveled with two teen-aged girls, and they both enjoyed the days we spent in this home (if you know anything about teenagers, you know we would know if they had any complaints). We did walk from Disneyland once....it's quite a trek. The cab ride is $10 each way, totally worth it. We hope to return to this home again on our next trip to the area.

Perfect Accomodation!

This house was great.... we stayed for 2 weeks. We werent sure whether to base ourselves in LA or Anaheim. Im so glad we chose Anaheim! It was super close to Disneyland (we went 5 times). The drive to Universal studios and all to Hollywood/Beverley Hills wasnt too bad if you time it right. The house is as the picture show. The landlords were great and the kids absolutely loved the Pool! The pool heating wasnt needed as it was summer and the water was always quite warm. Highly reccomend this house.

Excellent stay!!! Property was perfect and Jose and Carmen were great hosts!

The property was located in a nice, quiet location within a short drive to Disneyland. Great for being able to come back in the afternoon when the kids got tired and needed a break from all the activity or wanted to take a swim. Carmen and Jose were great hosts - always available for anything we needed. They took great care of us during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and made a point to get us supplies and items needed before we arrived. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. 10 of us (6 adults and 4 children) stayed there comfortably. Would definitely stay here again! Plus on the day we left, Carmen surprised us with treats and goodies for the kids!!!

Amazing!

I couldn't wait to express our pleasure staying in this house ,Jose and Carmen our hosts where so professional and down to earth always there for us, the house was very clean and comfortable and supplied everything we needed.We took advantage of Jose driving us around LA and Venice beach and enjoyed every minute of his company and sense of humor .I would recommend this house to any family looking to get away from the routine of a hotel,the pool at the end of the day was a bonus.The area is nice and quiet and very close to grocery stores and restaurants. Thank you again Jose and Carmen you made our trip very comfortable and memorable. I could go on and on but the bottom line is if your looking for a vacation rental this is it!

Great Location/Great Rental

The location was fantastic and the house was perfect for our crew. I called Carmen on our way to CA and requested getting into the house a day early. She said Absolutely!! The house was ready for us when we got there ... Carmen was so attentive and so wonderful. Jose has access to a car & limousine service, which we utilized. We had him drive us to Medieval Times and he returned later to pick us up. My kids LOVED the limo ride!! Thank you Carmen and Jose for making our vacation so wonderful!

This house is amazing, exactly the way it looks in the photos. The home owner was very responsive even though we only had 1 question she answered very quickly. She accommodated my family with an early check in. The caretakers of the property were. Very friendly. They checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. They kept the property immaculate, and the night before check out thanked us for staying with them and gave us chocolates for the kids. The pool was my kids favorite part, also mine. I could not have had a better stay. From my family to yours... THANK YOU

Very homey and inviting!! Carmen and Jose are great!!!

My family's week long stay in this comfortable and cozy home was outstanding!!! It was very clean and well appointed with little extras like shampoo, beach towels, coffee and so much more!!! The kitchen had everything we needed to do our cooking when we wanted to and the beautiful backyard pool really cooled us off on those hot days. Many, many thanks to Carmen and Jose for all of the care given to our family. They are absolutely lovely people who really care about the folks who visit. They helped us find things in the local area, printed our boarding passes for us on our return trip, and even had a small gift for our 6 year old grandson Logan for his flight home. We had a very comfortable and relaxing time on Flippen Way. Thank you so much Carmen and Jose for all you did for us!!!!!!

wonderful Rental for Disney Trip and More!

This was a great experience from start to finish. We had never used Homeaway before and were so lucky to find Carmen and Jose's house in Anaheim. It was just darling. Very easy to get to and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. You could walk to Disney, but we have whiny children who would have complained and too many to really warrant using Uber, so we used the Disney Parking. Everything was as described and it was great having the kids have their own rooms! It was too cold to swim, but the pool area is wonderful and great for hanging out and bbq. The property is clean and in a great neighborhood. Very peaceful. I highly recommend this house for families or groups planning a Disney Trip. It's much more economical than the resort hotels and nice to not have all the people around. WE spend some of our time in Los Angeles visiting hotels and also the beach. It's convenient to just about everything!

Outstanding place to stay for a Disney visit!

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious well appointed home. I'm a bit of a clean freak and this home was sparkling clean. Our children loved the pool. This is a great place for a family or large group (3 bedrooms with 6 beds and a pull-out couch in the family room. Pool towels, patio furniture (including chaise lounge chairs), and a BBQ grill were provided. The kitchen had everything you'd need and full size washer and dryer! Neighborhood was very nice and quiet with street parking readily available. Our caretaker, Carmen was gracious and easily available. Carmen provided extra unexpected touches - bottled water, some toiletries, a selection of DVDs and a few toys for young children, even a highchair. We were able to use Uber to Disneyland with less than a 10 minute wait for 6 people. You can walk to Disneyland, which we did the first day to see Downtown Disney. For a longer day at Disneyland, Uber works great-Uber for 4 or less cost $5.50.

Excellent Vacation Rental

We loved every part of this home! We have 7 children and they were very comfortable and loved the home. The kitchen is VERY well stocked with everything you need. We loved how convenient the home is to everything, yet in a quite neighborhood close the end of cul-de-sac and large park which our kids loved. The beds are super comfortable. We enjoyed the BBQ and the kids loved the pool. This is a wonderful choice for a Disney going family. I feel the best part is that there are wonderful caretakers on site. What a nice touch to get to a strange place and have such nice caring people to help with all the details. Jose was right there to help us find a grocery store and give us directions to everything we needed. He and Carmen are very sweet and helpful. Having them on site is a bonus to this property. They do not intrude, but are available for whatever you need. They really make the experience better. We enjoyed our vacation so much and would highly recommend this place for any family.

Great pool, nice owner

We are a familiy of 4 from Switzerland and were on a road trip through the western states. At the end of the trip we stayed 1 week at the vacation home. For our kids the pool was great. Also José explained all imporatant things around the house and was available whenever needed. The disney park is too far to walk with younger kids (7 and 9), but with older kids it might work out. The problem is not walking there, it's only 30 minutes - the problem is the way back after a day in the park. Still, being that close to Disney is quite cool, as you can sleep longer and still be early in the park. We also visited San Diego Seaworld, which is about 1.5 hours away from Anaheim. Grocery shops are 5 minutes from the home by car, there's a WalMart, a Big K mart, a Food4Less store and more... also a Pizza Hut (carry out only), a McDonalds, a Taco Bell and other restaurants are closeby, even within walking distance. The rooms and pool area were very clean and well maintained. Only the kitchen was not very clean and we had to clean it first before it was OK for us to use. Still we would recommend this house for families with kids, as it offers everything you need to enjoy your vacation.

Trip over Christmas

I had a very hard time communicating with Carmen. A month prior to our arrival I had asked about getting the pool heated, but only got a response about the possibility of that happening the day before we arrived. I was informed at that time, that heating of the pool might not be possible as the care taker was away over the holidays. I can definitely appreciate and understand that having someone come by to do that during the Christmas holidays might be challenging. However, I sent several messages to her without any response, and was never given a clear answer as to whether or not the pool could be heated during our stay. The host completely stopped replying to my messages. So we missed out on use of the pool, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. I feel like this should be advertised in the listing, that if people want the pool heated, that there is a chance that it may not happen. It was also a little bit disappointing that there were a few basic things lacking at that property such as tissue and paper towel. Overall it was a nice little property. Layout of the house was good and it was a cozy space. Good location and enough space for our family.

It was fine, but frustrating.

It was a good stay, but we had a number of challenges. I’ll start with the positives: - is close to Disneyland, a bit too far too walk if you have younger kids (ours were 9&7), but a short 8 min drive to the parking lot. Parking was $35/day, but for us worth it. - property is very well maintained, and clean - there is a grocery store super close Challenges: - price of pool heating was misleading until days before we arrived; - pool was not heated per request, and was very cold until last day; - dishwasher didn’t work the entire stay; - we were asked to stay home for one of the days to let dishwasher tech in to fix it, we changed plans to accommodate Tuesday and do pool day with kids; - Tuesday came and no dishwasher tech, no notice from host; no working dishwasher; - Tuesday also happens to be pool cleaning and chemicals day, so we couldn’t use pool during the nice part of the day…had we known, we would have picked a different day to help get dishwasher fixed;…but it never was. - we were asked late one night if the tech could just come and fix the dishwasher another day, and the host would come let them in, we said fine, as we needed it to work; - we were told dishwasher was fixed at some point, but there was no lower rack, not cutlery rack, share picture with host..no reply. I msg’d host our concerns after we left, and no response, so I decided to post this review as communication was disappointing and frustrating throughout stay.

Could be a great rental

We were very shocked when we arrived and learned that the only thing separating us from the owners side of the house is a sliding laundry room door. Not what we paid for and was definitely an invasion of privacy. Their windows look out to the pool, another privacy issue. The pool was NOT heated which is advertised. In no place on the agreement does it say owner lives at the location. He copied my credit card with a hand machine ( which I cancelled). We had already paid and the rental company has our card secured on file. There was no reason for this. Also had a gang member who appeared to be drugged up come visit the front drive on the first morning there. He was thee in front of my car for two hours delaying our Disney time. We tried knocking on the owners side door and the laundry room door to see if he thought we should call the cops or if this is a frequent. He wouldn't answer even though we could hear them on the other side of the door. Not at all what was on the property advertisement overall. Very disappointed.

AMAZING Customer Service and a Wonderful Home

Wow, if we could give more than 5 stars to Carmen and Jose, we would. The house is charming, comfortable, well-stocked and immaculately clean. We had a family reunion (four generations) and we are SO happy we found this gem of a rental to accommodate all of us. If we had all stayed in separate hotel rooms we wouldn't have had nearly as much family time all together, and would have spent a lot more money on food--it was a big deal to be able to use the grill out back to make dinner, and the Belgian waffle maker in the morning to make breakfast. We enjoyed taking our ice cream out of the freezer at night and making milkshakes and watching movies together as a family in the evenings--there is a huge selection of films to choose from at the house! The washer/dryer and provided laundry soap were also another HUGE convenience. Our three and a half year old LOVED the Disney touches: stuffed animals, small table and chairs, decorations, and wall decals. There were some toys in one closet as well that he enjoyed. I truly cannot say enough about Carmen and Jose and their dedication to making our stay wonderful. Their attentiveness is absolutely unprecedented. I am a bit of an over-planner and emailed back and forth with Carmen for weeks before our trip asking about various amenities to see if they were available and every time she responded promptly and graciously. Once we arrived to the property she and Jose checked our family in, made sure we knew we could (and should) contact them if we needed anything at all, and then they gave us complete privacy and space. Carmen saved us a lot of money and gave much peace of mind by making sure everything we would need for my 13 month old was provided: both a single AND a double stroller, high chair, pack and play (a really nice, clean, sturdy one that included a mobile, a fitted sheet, and a little attached noise machine), and a toilet insert (for our potty trained guy) and step stool in the bathroom. The walk to Disney was a bit far for us (about 30 minutes)--next time we visit Disney we will probably have to stay somewhere closer since the walk was too much to do multiple times a day (going home for naps and coming back later). We would LOVE to return to this house, though, because it was perfect. Only possible complaint: my husband and I weren't comfortable on the bed we slept on, but I think everyone else was fine. I absolutely would recommend this property to anyone and everyone! Thanks!

Nice and cozy

We really enjoyed our stay! Its approx a 30 minute walk the the disneyland gates. The house was super clean and Carmen was great to deal with. If we had to pick out an area for improvement, we would have liked a better stocked kitchen ( but its a minor criticism). You cant go wrong with this rental!

Perfect Family Stay

We stayed at this property in Anaheim for 8 days and 7 nights and we were so happy with it. The location was centrally located to all we had planned to do (Disney, beach, San Diego, LA). Only a short 8 mins drive to Disney and a park a block away where you can view the fireworks each night. The property was clean, updated, and stocked with everything we needed during our stay. There was even a welcome basket for us. The care takers were lovely and made sure we had a great stay. The pool was the best part! Such a beautiful backyard pool that was perfect for relaxing. Our family really enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider staying again.

We loved it!

This was the perfect place for us. We had two families staying in the home - one with teens and one with little ones. Carmen was very accommodating and even brought a little gift for our granddaughter before we left the last day. The pool area is beautiful, the home looks exactly as it does in the photos, and the kitchen was perfect. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!
