Villa Oasis at Cerca del Mar is Playa Langosta’s ultimate vacation rental. This three bedroom three and a half bath villa has everything you would ever expect in a true luxury vacation rental. The Moroccan architecture and the attention to detail puts this villa a step above any other properties in the Tamarindo area. A private pool, tropical landscaping, 24 hour security and privacy can be found at Villa Oasis.

The Villa offers all of the amenities you would expect in a luxury rental. Hand-crafted floor and wall tiles, tropical hardwood doors and cabinetry, cast stone water fountains, ceiling fans, a custom kitchen, vaulted hardwood beamed ceilings and more. The beach at Playa Langosta is just across the road, only steps away, with easy access from two locations. The entrance to the villa is secure and private.

Upon entering Villa Oasis you will encounter a tropical garden and outdoor shower area. No matter where you are in the villa, you will have a view of lush fauna which truly brings the tropics indoors. The Living Room is surrounded by both indoor and outdoor landscaped gardens and opens to the pool terrace. The custom-designed kitchen offers American-style stainless appliances including a dishwasher, oven, cook center stove, refrigerator and garbage disposal. The outdoor dining area just off the kitchen is covered by a pergola and has a ceiling fan and built in stainless steel gas grill. The Master Bedroom is also surrounded by landscaped gardens and offers a covered terrace for your morning coffee and fresh fruit. The Master Bath has a cast stone double sink and opens to more tropical gardens. There is a built-in dressing area and a laundry room, a true convenience. Upstairs, you will find the Mirador-Bedroom Suite that gives you a view of the blue waters of the Pacific. A full bath with an indoor garden and a sitting area make this room a great place for reading or relaxing. The third bedroom also has a full bath and the shower opens to another interior garden. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioning. The pool and patio areas in Villa Oasis are completely landscaped and offer comfortable seating. The sound from the outdoor fountain relaxes the body and pleases the soul, as does the sound of the surf from the ocean. Such a cool place! The open air showers, the dark trim and tile floor combo with the walls - amazing. This place has so much character and is so calming I’d go as far as saying here is an enchanted experience. Shower in the entryway in your own personal rain forest, sip coffee with the fish by the pond located inside the villa, take a dip under the moonlight in the pool, throw beans back at the monkeys above the private walk out porch. Whatever you do just book this villa. And the host / team are great / easy to communicate with / helpful. Easy, easy and great value.

Everything was as expected with no issues. The description is pretty accurate. The welcome brief was a little rushed but the one issue we had (no hot water in the shower) was resolved very quickly and didn't impact our stay at all. Villa has everything that you need and we tried a couple of the nearby restaurants (Indian and Pizza) - both of which were excellent.

Excellent location, the property has everything you will need to be comfortable. Beautiful pool and patio area. Air conditioning was perfect. The property manager was fantastic at responding to questions and assisting with transportation from the airport, tour recommendations, and golf cart rental. We had an issue with the oven not working, and he arrived within 30 minutes to attempt to repair it. We also needed the pool cleaned and when requested, it was addressed within a few hours! Highly recommended this rental.

Great location on the edge of town

This property has all that you need. It is close to town but away from the busy streets. 4-5 great restaurants that are in walking distance and 2-3 different beach accesses that are just across the street. I would definitely stay there again.

Pre wedding stay

Our daughter is getting married in Tamarindo in a couple of days and we wanted a place where we could enjoy some family time prior to the wedding. This villa was perfect! It had everything we needed and each bedroom having its own bathroom was ideal. It’s a very good location and close to everything. The property manager, Ariana, was so responsive and helpful! A great vacation with friends

Very lovely home in a great location. Close to a rocky beach, but only a short walk to open beach. The house itself was very nice and well maintained. It felt a little smaller than the pictures portrayed, but still plenty of room for six. The outdoor showers were awesome. We did have one rough morning when the property manager's forgot to fill the water tanks, but it was addressed quickly. Would stay again.

Beautiful place with swimming pool and wild life-monkeys and iguana. Walking distance to the beach. Was walking distance to the beach wedding/reception we attended. Walking distance to downtown. Many restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Had essentially everything one would want/need in paradise. Lots to do nearby. Our hostess best I've ever met. Obviously I would recommend to anyone for staying.Already missing Tamarindo!!!

Loved the house

The house, the pool and the location was great, We were comfortable and it suited our needs. It was well equipped and the a/c was appreciated. We were 4 adults and two children. The house is about a 5 minute walk to a beach. We had golf carts which made it easy to get to the town. There was a well stocked supermarket a short walk from the house. Romi, the concierge, was superb - she responded promptly and resolved any issues and requests in a very friendly and timely manner. We loved the iguana who came to drink from the pool.

Why they chose this property

We first vacationed in Costa Rica in '09 and fell in love with the Country. Every trip back since has included some kind of property search. It's a long story but we actually found Villas Cerca Del Mar by chance. We previously had no intentions of buying a home that was already built. After a couple of nights in the villa my wife and I looked at each other and almost simultaneously said, 'we could live here.' The craftsmanship and attention to detail in these villas cannot be ignored. The villa is walking distance to at least five separate and distinct surf breaks and a 20 minute drive either way to several others. We feel very fortunate to have found this piece of paradise.

What makes this property unique

Secure luxury villa, private tropical gardens and pool. Steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Great surfing and Costa Rican adventure! We have spent a great deal of time traveling and have stayed in many luxury accommodations however this place is truly something special. We hope you find our Oasis to be a relaxing tropical paradise as we have. Pura Vida!
