Large cabin close to Strawberry river and Pinecrest

This cabin is large and easily accommodated our family. We enjoyed the game room, however stairs are steep. Also based on the description we thought the game room and master bedroom would be on the main level, but it’s actually downstairs. It is within walking distance to the strawberry river (about 1/2 mile). Loved that we were able to bring our small dogs with us. The property could use some updating, but we enjoyed our stay!

Change of Venue

Originally we were staying at Change of Attitude in Pinecrest. However, due to problems with the property we got moved to Twain Harte. The house was great and accommodating all our needs. The only issues were the neighbor’s dog got in the house, found dirty silverware in the drawer. Although not the area we wanted it worked out great.

The main area was clean. We had a some snorers so when we tried to use the hide-a -beds they were filthy. Holes in the mattresses, one was wet, one was badly stained. I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on it. Window latch in one bedroom was broken so we couldn’t open for fresh air. Mattress in one bedroom so noisy you couldn’t sleep on it. Sliding glass door to back porch was off the track and laying on it’s side. Sliding glass door has leak in the double pane and you can’t see out of it very well--fogged. Lighting is poor, especially by dinner table. Many burned out lightbulbs or no bulb in socket. Many wall plugs weren’t grounded. Couldn’t plug in a nightlight. We rented before price increased 115 to 610. Cabin is in great location and needs some attention. Over priced for the issues we experienced.
