This huge Family Fun cabin is great for retreats, reunions, family fun and has 7 bedrooms including a den and loft. sleeping 20, with 2 baths, 2 fridges, 4 levels and room for everyone. At an elevation of 5600ft, close to Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest Lake. Full kithen, microwave, range, 2 fridges, dishwasher, washer, dryer. Fireplace/wood stove, wood provided, parking for 4, foosball, air hockey tables in game room, bbq and decks. AIR CONDITIONING! WIFI!
We have smoke detectors, CO detectors, fire extinguishers.

ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
* We provide cleaning service after your departure for a fee so you do not have to clean on your vacation. We follow covid protocols and procedures, per vrbo listing information for California no contact entry.
CLEANING:
We have always and will continue to use clorox, lysol cleaners,disinfectant sprays, and laundry sanitizer, vinegar, bleach as appropriate for each surface type. Our crews wear protective masks and gloves. We have always taken great care to protect our guests! You should leave it tidy, rinsed dishes go into dishwasher so there's no ants etc. Cabins blankets and towels stay at the cabin. The crew does the rest. Thanks Darlene

Leave beds and bedding for the contractor, please no bedding on the floor.

Great house in the mountains

We spent a great weekend in Cold Springs and the house was spacious and clean with all amenities listed. Snow was just a bonus.

Cold Springs Birthday Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our 12 group of family and friends. Plenty of room for everyone. Lovely quiet street. Well stocked cabin with a great location. Close to Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest.

Family get away

The house was just perfect size for our family. The kids enjoyed the VHS Disney movies. It was quiet and secluded but perfect distance to the hiking trail and lake. We would love to come back every year! Thank you for plenty of towels and bed linens.

Great access to the lake

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin. Was a little warm and had to deal with too many yellow jackets but we had a great time. The grandkids loved the lower level of the cabin with the air hockey. Not a far drive to the lake. Was a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Much better than camping!

Our five families have camped at Pinecrest Lake for many years. Not wanting to pitch tents, again, this house met our needs perfectly. There was plenty of room for everyone. The location was easy to access and just a few minutes from the lake. Having only two bathrooms was a bit challenging for twenty, but we made it work.

Was hoping for snow but no snow. Would definitely stay in this cabin again. It was perfect for our family. Very cozy living room with the wood burning stove next to kitchen. Very spacious with 3 levels. Loved it.

It's a great place for vacation.

We were not having much plans for outing. The lake is just a 10 minutes drive. Most of the time at home enjoying food and company with friends and family. Even we are group of 13 didn't much really realised we have only two bathrooms.

The moment we turned into the street we fell in love with the view. The house was cleaned and organized. No problems whatsoever. We really enjoyed our time there, there was no wifi, but we didnt lose cell reception, a little slow but we could manage, not an issue. Thank you for everything.

Perfect cabin for a larger group

We had a great stay at Pinecrest Area Rentals #16. We had 15 people are were very comfortable. We loved the porches, it had a great living room area and game room along with lots of bedrooms so people could all have a place to sleep. Plus there were lots of Disney movies on VHS so we enjoyed that as well. =) The place was clean, and the descriptions were all accurate. Darlene was great to work with. We would definitely rent this cabin again in the future.

They went above and beyond to help my family and I as we were not prepared for the weather. They treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of at checkout. Would definitely visit again! Reviewer location - San Jose Date of arrival - February 21, 2023 We are still amazed by the host and her attention to notify us of the difficulties of clearing out the prior week's blizzard and more than 9' of snow. We are skiers so we wanted to get some of the new snow. Host Darlene's crew moved mountains of snow and even had to deal with a pipe issue up to the last minute. We arrived and the cabin was pre-warmed. Pictures and listings are spot on. We would stay again at this cabin. Reviewer location - West Marin County Date of arrival - March 2, 2023 We loved the cozy cabin, amazing location… it was v clean and convenient. The host was v responsive as well. We truly appreciate the “no WiFi” feature…. We played scrabble, foozball, chess, read books, chatted around the table, lots of fun and laughter. Very nice and very large place. Perfect for a group getaway.

My family and I shared this house with 3 other families. There was a ton of room for everyone to sleep. The kids really enjoyed the game room/loft. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you could ever need. It snowed over a foot on our final night and after digging out we had an awesome time skiing at Dodge Ridge. There is no internet or cell service in this location, which I love. The children quickly forgot about devices and actually played with each other, in the gameroom and out in the snow. This is the best house I've found in the Pinecrest area for a large group. We'll be back!

Nice size place

We had a great time at this place. Plenty of room for the number of people we had. Only two small problems one we could not use the oven due to it not cleaned properly and when we turned it on and it started smoking at the house. No big deal we barbecued all weekend. Other small issue was a limited bathrooms only two and taking showers was difficult especially with the size water tank that is there needed to space out showers 15 minutes apart to try and keep water warm. With the amount of people taking showers you had to save a lot of time before planning your day and going out. But overall nice quiet area peaceful place definitely would stay there again. PS maybe upsize the TV in the living room to a flat screen

As we discussed the guests before you burnt up something in the oven and they ran the self clean, which unfortunately just made a burnt sacrifice out of it. There's a flat screen TV upstairs in the game room... We do remind on our rental agreement and in the cabin binder to space out showers. It is a very cool big cabin. large enough for big groups but........

We had a group of 12 people, so the two bathrooms were a little tricky but we made it work. The towels were very old and ridiculously small for 12 adult women. It took two to three to dry off. I would suggest investing in larger towels. That said, the main issue was in the kitchen. The microwave was cracked and the door was literally falling off. The Refrigerator light was out, the door doesn't close right and the cooling mechanism was weak. It wasn't just that they were old , everything was broken. Dish towels were also missing , so we had to use paper towels that we brought, which was not energy conscious. I would suggest investing in a few dish drying towels. The sheets were in the rooms but not on the bed. Just FYI. As we got in late, it was a hassle to make all the beds. I wouldn't stay here again.

Great for family with kids

This was our second year renting this cabin and it is perfect for a large group with kids!! The kids absolutely love the loft area to play and sleep. Having their own space makes it so much more fun for them. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils for a full house. Also, Darlene is an AMAZING host and after 4 years we have had zero issues. She is always informative, timely in responses and accomodating!!

We have been serving renters for 40 years, with cabins of all sizes and from Pinecrest, Strawberry and Leland Meadows. From 1-7 bedrooms, sleeping 2-30, 1-4 baths. Great family fun vacation rentals. When we started 35 years ago the cabins didn't have TV, vcrs were new but we thought people would want the rest and relaxation of the great outdoors. The cabins had books and board games! There was no such thing as WiFi or cell phones. I still remember car phones in a bag in the 90's. Things have really changed since then. Now there's Verizon cell coverage. Originally I did it myself, booked, cleaned, hauled wood, shoveled snow. Then it became a family thing! My 7 kids grew up with the business. It's still very much a family business we all do our very best!

This beautiful ideal cabin home is centrally located for uphill and downhill activities. From Pinecrest Lake to Don Pedro. Dodge Ridge to Yosemite, Calavaras county as well. Every thing from Casino-Spelunking, Water Sports to live theater.
