Great house and good location! Lots of places to sleep - amazing game room that kept the kids busy. Deck was beautiful to sit on and BBQ in the evening. Elvin was a great host - replied to all my questions quickly. Cabin does not have AC and was a bit warm while we were there - could use a few more fans to help cool it down during the day and evenings. Driveway is super steep and a little hard for cars with low clearance to avoid scraping at the bottom but plenty of parking and can park in garage too. All in all a great stay! Would recommend if you are looking for a mountain getaway with a group.
Had a great trip! Great location, 10 minute drive from Pinecrest lake. The house was much cleaner than most the houses I've stayed at in the area.
Pictures were accurate, one of the king bedrooms is directly connected to the room with all the beds. Loved the game room.
Really nice cabin to stay with larger group of people. Plenty of beds to accommodate guests and the game room was a hot spot for our trip. It is on hill so low cars should use caution when parking. Overall very nice little cabin in a quiet neighborhood.
Elvin is a responsive owner and tries best to have your stay as comfortable as it can be. During excessive snow days, he coordinated with the snow plowers and got the drive way cleared. Gave all info as needed. Highly recommend.
This cabin is newly updated. Everything was neatly decorated and brand new. It is under 7 miles from Dodgeridge Resort and Pinecrest Lake.
The host's effort was felt from the moment we stepped in. The thoughtful design and attention to detail were evident in every corner, from the handcrafted furniture to the cozy fireplace.
The cabin's layout was both practical and aesthetically pleasing. We loved the warm and inviting ambiance of the cabin. The Christmas theme setup was perfect.
The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bedrooms were adorned with tasteful decor, and the plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep.
Gameroom was the highlight of the Cabin. Kids never wanted to step out of that room.
In summary, we had a delightful time at 'Serenity' Cabin. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this enchanting hideaway.
Great Hideout, albeit close to everything needed. Highly recommended!
The property was exactly as advertised. It is definitely more of a cabin than a house. But everything worked as needed. And the holiday decor was a nice added touch. The mattress in the downstairs in-law unit is failing and should be replaced. But other than that, no one in our group had any complaints. The game room was great for kids. The Wi-Fi was definitely super strong. Netflix streaming works great. Fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, all worked just fine. Plenty of dishes although they could use a few more cereal bowls. We supplemented with our own paper goods. The space heaters were nice, and the central heater worked just fine. We were able to park four cars under icy and snowy conditions: one in the garage, two in front of the garage, and one in the side driveway. The garage entry area does get icy and slippery. The laundry machines worked great, as did the tankless water heater. The hosts left us some housewarming gifts waiting for us when we arrived, which was a really thoughtful touch. We skied at Dodge Ridge a couple of days and getting there was very easy from the cabin, maybe a 15 minute drive with ice and snow conditions. There's a gas station and small grocery in the neighborhood, and a very good pizza parlor nearby. The cabin has four levels, which means three flights of stairs to get from garage to upper bedrooms. So we definitely got our steps in each day.
