Blue Bear Lodge was beautiful and exactly what my family needed for a quick weekend getaway. It was spacious enough for our 2 adult kids and their significant others as well as our 2 close friends to relax comfortably. There was plenty of parking for our 4 cars. I would recommend you arrive before dark as there are no street lights and it's hard to navigate an unknown area. We spent some time at Pinecrest Lake even though the water level was low and there was hardly anyone there. The host, Samantha was very responsive. When we were having trouble connecting the TV, she responded quickly and walked us thru the setup. She also recommended a store for basic groceries and a couple of restaurants for dinner. We tried them all and were very pleased. Mia's was AMAZING! The kids are already making plans to return in the summer when they can rent paddle boards and enjoy the lake.
