The hosts were very helpful, always available, and rapid response. The house is in excellent condition, well supplied, and great location. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood.
This is the most five star review I could possibly leave. The space was beautiful, newly renovated and spotless. Location is great, we WALKED TO THE ZOO. Along the way was the cutest little park for the kids to play in. About 15 mins from downtown. Communication was a breeze, check-in (and out) was simple. Laundry, dishwasher, two showers, all the amenities! I have zero qualms.
This was a perfect place to stay for our small group, very clean and everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful but close to the airport, the expo center and plenty of restaurants. The property manager is easy to reach and very helpful, would definitively stay again.
We stayed for a long weekend, and it was all we hoped for. Very clean, good location, and communication with the host was easy and thorough. The first night we pulled in we saw seven deer in the yard. Would definitely stay here again.
This house was just as described. We had everything we needed and the property manager was awesome communicating the whole time. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Great communication! Property was just as described, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The bedding and beds were comfortable. The property had a washer and dryer available in the basement but our visit was short and we didn't use them - definitely nice to have for a longer stay! If we are in the area again, this will be where we stay. Easy to get downtown and to the airport. Thanks for a wonderful trip to Louisville!
Saw 2 beautiful deer in yard at night.Quiet neighborhood. Nice to have driveway to park in.Very clean!Nice starter amenities! Coffee, Hot sauce, shampoo & conditioner, snack basket, q-tips.
We stayed here for a second time after enjoying our first visit last year. The neighborhood is quiet and right next to a beautiful park. The kitchen/living room combo is great for cooking and hanging out in. Communication with the host was great. Thanks for a lovely time!
We loved this place! Great living room kitchen combo to hang out in, tremendous porch and backyard, right by a park and the zoo, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, and clean. We'll be back! Only criticism is there were not many pots in the kitchen.
Our first trip to to experience the 150th Kentucky Derby did not disappoint! Our accommodating stay at this charming house in a wonderful neighborhood was the cherry on top! Very clean and full of old style details. Would stay again!
Nice little 3 bedroom bungalow! Great location! Lots of updates! Needs a little attention to some housekeeping items, but overall gets a great recommendation!
Our group of 6 adults came down from NE Indiana to experience the Bourbon Trail. We picked this property based off of location and where we were visiting. We were all pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the property and the cleanliness. The house was very nice with a lot of modern updates. We had plenty of room for 3 couples to have their own space and the living/kitchen/dining areas had room for all of us to be in one central location for dinners and games and such. We had everything we needed to cook at the house and the outdoor space was nice too. We would all stay here again
We enjoyed our stay here, but there were a couple things that left it short of 5 stars:
1) honestly it's kind of creepy. The basement is clean, but also very eerie. It would be avoidable except for the giant floor vent in the middle of the house that you can see the basement from. We also didn't feel awesome about the "bedroom" that is accessible by the front door (no one wanted to sleep in that room)
2) The microwave didn't work and when we reached out, we got a message that they would check, but never did or ever communicated with us again. It wouldn't have been a big deal if we hadn't planned a chill night with microwave popcorn. The main concern was with their lack of addressing it.
But the house was clean, there were comfortable beds, and it was sufficient space for the 5 of us. There was coffee and coffee makers, nicely decorated (except the butler statue which was a little creepy ;) ) and it was close to the location of our conference.

STAY HERE IF YOU WANT CRAZY NEIGHBORS TO HARRASS YOU PRETENDING TO BE FROM HOMEBASE!
This is a beautiful home, in a beautiful, quiet, neighborhood, & it looks exactly like the pictures. There are no issues with the home itself.
However, at 1:30 am in the pouring rain, a white male & female neighbor came to the house to tell us that Homebase sent them to kick us out bc we had too many ppl & we were parked on "their" grass. The man proceeds to ask how we got in "his" garage, and I explained that the door was unlocked, but no one was in there. We placed a table in it earlier, but we took it out.
The lady was on the phone with someone so I legit thought she was from Homebase, so I explained that we were doing nothing wrong, and had the cars moved off the grass. The street is narrow, so we didn't want to block cars from being able to get through.
I contacted Vrbo & they gave me the "property owners" number & before I could call her, I received a text at 10:29 stating that the grounds staff told her we hadn't vacated the home. We left at 10:00 am sharp with video proof that we were gone, & the house was empty & spotless. I proceeded to ask her why Homebase sent someone to kick us out & she had no clue what I was talking about & that she would have the "Property Manager" call me, but I never got a call. Vrbo proceeded to give me the "Property Managers" number, but it was the same as the "Owner"
I don't know what these people are on, but I'd never rent this property again, with nosing, lying neighbors trying to kick us out & received no help whatsoever.
