Eagle's Nest is a brand new, creek front, Treehouse/Sky Cabin built by my husband who is a custom home builder in Franklin, NC. This is a popular area for vacation homes, and there are many vacation homes in this area. Many tourists come here for trout fishing, gem mining, kayaking/whitewater rafting, hiking and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the larger cities. There are two flights of stairs in the treehouse. If you have mobility issues, we ask you to consider this before booking. It is built on a flat piece of land with a flat drive to the property, and a flat yard, so four wheel drive is not needed. Motorcycles are welcome with trailers. We will help with parking if necessary. PLEASE do not park motorcycles on the pavement under the treehouse. You will have to bring a covered trailer. Inquire before booking about the size of your trailer so we can accommodate you. Things to note for motorcycles: we have a gravel driveway, no driving in the grass. The Treehouse stands 35-40 feet high to the peak and is nestled in the towering tree tops, overlooking beautiful Wayah Creek! The Treehouse has tongue and groove walls, luxury vinyl plank flooring, grey barn wood ceilings, barn wood beams and barn wood rolling door accents! The bathroom is a full bath with glass shower doors and tiled walls and floors, adorned with pebble stone accents. We have provided a remote controlled ventless electric fireplace in the cozy den, two large screen Smart TV's (one for the den and one for the upstairs), full kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, stack washer and dryer, plenty of items to cook full meals and an outdoor gas grill. We have partially enclosed the dining/lounging area, which includes the hot tub, underneath the Treehouse. There is festoon lighting surrounding this area. We only allow 1 dog under 50 lbs, leashed while outside the whole time, and crated while you’re gone. No pit bulls or other potentially aggressive dogs allowed on the property. Message with any questions before booking please. A $50 pet fee is required upon booking. We have bundled firewood for sale for $8.00/bundle. Please inquire about how to purchase the firewood upon arrival. We welcome you to come and enjoy this beautiful, new, luxurious Treehouse!
