Although our area is a neighborhood, the cabins are spread out and not visible from the cabin. There is very little through traffic & we have a long driveway that leads to the cabin tucked back into the woods.
The mountain top neighborhood is absolutely stunning, lined with thick forest trees, and all paved roads. Even the drive to the top is a site to see. You'll want to snap a photo of Deadwood at the top before heading down the driveway.

Uber is banned in Deadwood specifically so you will not be able to use Uber to go to Deadwood. However, the cabin itself is on county land so you will be able to call an uber if you are traveling to any other town besides Deadwood. We have multiple quick and attentive taxi service, trolleys, and there is paid parking in Deadwood if you choose to drive.

***NO Checkout Tasks!*** We believe the cleaning fee should cover the clean-up. That includes stripping sheets from beds and putting dishes away. Guests are only responsible to clean up personal messes such as filling and staring the dishwasher and gathering any loose garbage throughout the cabin.
Absolutely no underage drinking or partying. Underage parties are not tolerated, and the police WILL be called.

Although not visible, we do have neighbors down the hill. Sound echos off the mountains so please be mindful of noise after 10pm.

No Pets are permitted at the property. This does not apply to legitimate service animals. ESA are not recognized in the state of South Dakota and will be considered a pet. $250 fine if you are found to have an animal at the property.

We know accidents happen and we work with our guests to fix broken or damaged items during their stay at a reasonable cost. Guests will be financially responsible for any damages that occur during their stay. Due to past issues, we now charge an additional $250 fine in addition to the cost of repairs or replacement if guests attempt to hide damages. Photos are taken of each room after each clean to ensure accuracy but if you see anything amiss during your stay, please notify Brandi immediately.

NO Smoking inside the cabin or in the sunroom. Please dispose of cigarettes properly. Cigarettes are one of the most frequent causes of forest fires in The Black Hills. Please do not throw cigarettes on the ground.

Family
The house is well kept and beautiful. We had a small problem with the code but the host took care of it. We were in Deadwood for my dad’s funeral so it was a sad and stressful time but it was nice to get away to regroup. We could be together in the house but were able to also have space. We randomly selected this house when we were looking at VRBO’s but it offered a nice surprise, I could look out the bedroom window and see the rooftop of my parents home.
