House was very clean. Kitchen had necessary utensils and cooking pans. The property was gorgeous with the ponds and trails. Loved sitting on the porch and listening to the rain.

About the host
Hosted by Laura
My name is Laura. I really enjoy being a host because all of my past guests have been amazing people. It is interesting and unique to be able to share my vacation home with people from different parts of the country. I am originally from Florida, but I spend lots of my time in western North Carolina. I have two children and two border collies making a total of four children. My dogs absolutely love the vacation home. They are so happy when they are out exploring the trails. When I am not spending time with my family, I am usually outside. I love the outdoors. Gardening is a passion of mine. It is so relaxing to be out in the garden observing the flowers, butterflies, and bees while enjoying the sounds of nature. My vacation rental property has a waterfall, and I have always found water to be very calming. I hope you will enjoy your vacation in Brevard!
Why they chose this property
The nature is incredible and beautiful. When the rhododendrons are in bloom; it is a sight to see. I love the fresh air and peacefulness of the mountains. This particular location is private and safe. You can go on a hike without having to leave the property.
What makes this property unique
We have a really cool trail system that we are always improving. It goes along the creek and has several fun bridges. There are also some steps that you can climb up to get to the top of a hill, then you would walk back down to our upper pond. I am always adding to the gardens and decorating the landscape with stones. It brings me so much joy to be able to share something so beautiful. For guests, I have painted some rocks and hidden them outside. All suggestions for improvements are appreciated. I put my whole heart into making my vacation rental nice.
