The Seeoff Seclusion is a rustic, yet modern and cabin that offers a quiet, relaxing lodging experience. Look out over the treetops at the Blue Ridge mountains with phenomenal year-round long-range views.

This is not an empty shell of a short-term rental property; this is a fourth-generation family cabin. Hand built in 1982 with love and care. It is outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay! We provide all linens, paper products, coffee, tea, spices....Just bring clothes, your favorite beverages, and food to settle right in!

Watch the sun set each evening from the deck as it lights up the clouds with brilliant colors worthy of a painting. As the sun tucks behind the mountain range, the ridgeline glows a warm smokey blue and then darkens into a background scene worthy of a Patagonia clothing commercial!

The unobstructed mountain view is visible from the living room, dining room and each bedroom...wake up to watch the morning fog lift off the valley from the comfort of the Queen size beds in each bedroom. Tastefully appointed with high quality cotton sheets.
Evenings can be spent stargazing at the night sky while sitting around the fire, or with a family game night or puzzle from our game/activity cabinet. We also provide corn hole boards and giant Jenga to play.

The cabin is nestled up on the top of Seeoff RD and Becky RD, with a single lane private gravel driveway that provides easy access to the home. The property is 12 acres, with a small field, creek, and onsite hiking trails, a very private location with only 2 homes sharing the private gravel lane.

Excellent high-speed 5G internet and clear cell phone service, should you absolutely need to log in for work.
Light and bright kitchen and dining area to share family meals.
Fully equipped with a Keurig, drip coffee, and a French press along with assorted teas. All pots, pans and utensils are available as well as a crock pot, Ninja blender, toaster and microwave.
Quality linens/sheets and towels.
Shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser with Ginger Lily brand; all-natural green tea and lemongrass scented products.

Accommodating sleeping arrangements with two bedrooms downstairs each with a queen bed. Additional twin size daybed in the den with twin trundle.

Swim, wade, or fish in one of the 5 lakes that are clear and clean with no motorized boats. Connestee is located just a short drive down the mountain. (Access/reservations must be reserved in advance with host)

We had a great stay. The house was charming and clean, the view was amazing, the location was just what we needed - very close to Dupont State Park and Brevard - and the host had thought of every detail. She was also very responsive to any questions we had. I recommend this place to others, and my family would consider coming back ourselves.

Just as lovely as described. Beautiful views, comfortable cabin equipped with everything you'd need. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. We appreciated having a well-stocked kitchen as well as plentiful towels, sheets, blankets, etc. Bedrooms have ample closets, large dressers, bedside tables with lamps, and luggage racks. Clearly a thoughtful owner!

Fresh and Clean

A great stay. The house looked like it was newly painted - very fresh. Beautiful view as promised. Owner dealt very quickly with one small issue. So grateful for the dog-friendliness of the house. I believe mattresses were inner spring firm. Great WiFi.

Beautiful, secluded cabin in the woods. There was a minor snafu with the key combo access, but the host was super responsive. My positive feelings about her ability to quickly resolve the issue far exceeded any small frustration I had.

Stunning view!

We stayed an entire week and never wanted for anything! This house is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and everything was spotless. So much peace and privacy. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful and cozy!

We loved our stay at SeeOff Seclusion. Communication with Marian was great from the beginning. She answered so many questions for me prior to booking and more after. It was our first vacation with an infant (3 months old) and this place was perfect. The views from the decks are as advertised- spectacular! We watched the sunset every night and loved enjoying our coffee from the deck every morning. We could even see 4th of July fireworks from there! We were able to use the laundry because we stayed for one week, but it is on a septic tank and we were careful to balance laundry, dishwasher, and showers. The driveway to the house was gravel and bumpy. Her written directions were definitely helpful in supplementing the Google directions. The house really made our trip special and I definitely recommend staying here!

I'm a wife, mom of two teenage boys, nature lover, animal lover, and coffee fanatic! I recently broke my $6 latte habit and now enjoy making my coffee at home on my own espresso machine. One of my first jobs was as a barista running an espresso cart on Riverstreet in Savannah, GA back in the early 90's! (Before Starbucks was really a thing) I recently left my 23-year mortgage banking career to focus on property management. I've been managing long term rental properties for over 14 years and now moving to short term market. My top priority is to ensure guests have a wonderful experience during their stay with us. We love 5-star reviews! We have kept this cabin a secret for the last 10 years and used it as our own second home. It was hand built by my grandfather in the early 1980's, but never finished. Now that the construction is complete, we are excited to share his dream home with others! It is such a unique home and rare location. We welcome you to stay with us for a bit of seclusion at our mountain getaway!

Why they chose this property

Centrally located~ just 8 miles from Dupont Forest, 8 miles to Pisgah Forest, and 5 miles to the heart of downtown Brevard! Very private mountain top location yet close to everything! Whether you're a mountain biker, hiker, or just looking to relax, our cabin is right for you. Wireless cable high speed internet and excellent cell phone service, should you absolutely need to log in for work. Light and bright kitchen and dining area to share family meals, the table seats six. Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig, drip coffee, and a french press along with assorted teas. All pots, pans and utensils are available as well as a crock pot. Quality linens/sheets and towels, no microfiber sheets!! Shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in the shower with Ginger Lily natural green tea and lemongrass scented products.

What makes this property unique

Super cute custom built 2-bedroom cabin sitting high on the top of Crystal Rock. Located in the middle of 10 acres of private wooded property accessed by a one lane gravel driveway. Being high up on the mountain at the altitude of 2900 ft allows you to watch the clouds from up above! The main level is an open concept living, dining, kitchen combination that center around a brick fireplace. Original pine hardwood floors throughout and updated bathrooms. Upper and lower west-facing decks for relaxing and watching the sunset. Bedrooms are designed with a shabby chic/boho flare with shiplap walls and craftsman moldings. Each room sleeps 2 with queen size beds... One is a lower platform height and one is standard height. Each bedroom opens to the lower deck by sliding glass doors with blinds between the glass. You can watch the sunrise shine over mountains while relaxing in bed! The dining room doubles as game room with an extensive game cabinet, laser tag, giant wood stacking tower game, and corn hole boards for unplugged entertainment. Sit by the firepit and relax as the day winds down and the sun slips down behind the range. Some days it's best to just stay home...Hike on site with marked trails, explore the property's unique rock formations and search for mushrooms and salamanders by the bubbling creek. Venture out to the field and watch the deer nibbling on the grass, or catch a glimpse of one of the many rabbits that call it home!
