Good Vibes Only: Amazing view of Buckeye lake

Looking for a unique and fun getaway destination? Look no further than our quirky waterfront home on Buckeye Lake! Located just a short distance from popular spots like Papa Boos and Waterfront Bar, this recently remodeled retro-style home is the perfect place to relax and have a good time.

Unwind in our hot tub after a day of exploring, or enjoy some friendly competition on our pool table, cornhole boards, or with the board games we provide. And don`t forget to take advantage of the beautiful lake views from our waterfront property.

While we are situated on the waterfront, please note that direct water access is not available and a privately owned path and green space separates our home from the water. And, for taller guests, our lower level does have low ceilings and a 4` wide spiral staircase.

Upstairs, you`ll find two bedrooms and a shared full bathroom with a walk-in shower, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with normal ceiling heights. We also have well water with a filtration system for your convenience.

For an additional fee, late check-out and early check-in are available upon request, and we are pet-friendly with a cleaning fee. Just keep in mind that our spiral stairs may not be suitable for all furry friends. And for your peace of mind, we have exterior cameras at the entry doors and parking area for added security.

We do not allow outside guests, other than those on the reservation, on the property without prior approval from us.

Great spot for a quick weekend family getaway. We loved the hot tub and the mini pool table. The description and comments about the spiral staircase is spot-on too…it’s a tight fit! Beds were comfy, beach towels for the hot tub a nice surprise too.

Very cute and creative atmosphere. Nice and clean. Our host was easy to communicate with. The sprial staircase is adorable but narrow. The spiral staircase is the only way to access the upstairs from the inside. Awesome hot tub!

The house is very cute and open. The pictures are not all accurate (pool table, back yard, lake view). The spiral staircase was very hard to get up and down for most adults. I was in contact with Rachel about a few damages in the house at check in. Otherwise we had a great time and the house had plenty of room.

Sisters weekend

The inside of the home was nice and decorated well and clean. Wish there was a more comfy area for us to sit and hang out. It was hard getting luggage in and down the narrow spiral staircase. The owner was always prompt when contacting and gave great recommendations on areas to visit. All in all the house was good, but the exterior could use some love.

This is a cute place. The hot tub setup is great for a beautiful sunset. The back upper deck is awesome. Couple of small things… the spiral stairway is VERY narrow which creates two issues 1. Pets have to be walked out and around each time you are gathered in different areas and 2. If you are a little heavy like me.. it’s a little tight especially if you are carrying things. Place could have been a little cleaner but it was so cute. Water in upper shower doesn’t stay hot long, goes cold, then gets hot again. Upper parking is your only real option unless you’re feeling daring with the driveway to the bottom. Would stay again without a pet.

There were good things, but overall I would not book with this host again. The original property we rented was not like it was listed…floors were squishy/seperating, it was freezing cold, the furniture in the listing is not what was in the house, but we were willing to make it work until we realized the hot tub would not keep temp, even overnight without us using it. The host was responsive and tried to fix it but ultimately moved us to a new property the next morning and that was a bit better. The hot tub was much better there, the house a similar size, but we went from 2 bathrooms to 1 with 6 people…it just was not enjoyable. Both houses were cold and had wild cold drafts all over, we were here in winter and it was unpleasant. Things are broken and unfinished all over, our socks were dirty from walking on floors that were just cleaned that morning, the back door scraps the floor when you try to use it…you get the vibe. We lovingly joked that this is a landlord special because we were trying to make the best of our trip…I appreciate the hospitality of moving us to a new property, but it did not salvage the trip. Having to unpack then repack then unpack again on a long weekend trip really took a toll and we wouldn’t have had to move at all if this wasn’t a landlord special. 3 stars for your kindness, but an honest review would be more 1.5/2 stars.
