This spacious apartment overlooking the beautiful Brouwersgracht canal near the jordaan is certainly unique, we have a big family bedroom with space for maximum 4 persons & a bathroom. We live upstairs; we share a hallway, where we both have our private entree to our own floors. So the apartment is fully private. Centrally located in the historic center in the UNESCO protected canals of Amsterdam. Suitable for couples & families up to 4 persons. Located on the 3rd floor easily accessible via a wide stairwell. All major attractions within walking distance. As well as the best restaurants, bars, stores and clubs.

Perfect Amsterdam Apartment

This property was the highlight of our trip! The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean, and has everything we needed. The host met us when we arrived and showed us around. He was wonderful.

Wonderful location and spacious apartment overlooking the canal. It was great waking up to that beautiful view. Lydia, who met us at the apartment, was our savior. We were able to check in early, the local team was very gracious, helpful and accommodating. The only thing that might be a cultural issue is that there were no towel hooks in the bathroom! It might be helpful to install some but we managed. The location was close to supermarkets, both organic and regular and provided easy access to the city’s network of canals, without being in an area overwhelmed with tourists. It was a short walk (15 minutes) to the central train station.

Anniversary in Amsterdam.

The property was fantastic. The location is perfect. A 10 minute walk to Central Station. Right next to a key tourist shopping district ( Haarlemstat) and very close to both a regular supermarket and a high end organic one as well. (Think Whole Foods). Great space in the apt. Big family room and everything we needed in the kitchen. Host were great and very responsive. Would rent this again!

A great stay

Great place to stay. Grocery around the corner. Best fry shop in Amsterdam near by. Premium dining close by. Walking distance to many of the attractions of the city.

Wonderful amsterdam stay

Loved the space. View was amazing. Bed comfy. Plenty of space. Clean and convenient. Less than 15 minute walk to centraal station. Be sure to stop at the ekoplaza food market 2 blocks away for groceries.

Beautiful Views

The convenient location on the beautiful Brouwersgracht can't be beat. Just minutes from Central Amsterdam, yet a whole lot quieter and quaint. The view of the canal from the front room is captivating and beautiful. Furnishings are basic, clean, and comfortable. The host, Jesse, was responsive, considerate, and kind. A great choice of accommodation when visiting Amsterdam.

Spacious Apartment in perfect location

This place was much bigger than expected! The living room was perfect to unwind in, with great views of the canal. Very comfy beds, blackout curtains. Jesse was super accommodating with getting my checked in.

Really enjoyed the apartment. We loved seeing the sights of Amsterdam for the first time, but would have been happy just sitting in the beautiful living room overlooking the canal. Hosts were attentive to our needs.

What a location and what a view

The location allowed us to walk to anything (including the train station) we wanted to visit. The view of the canal out the front window never got old. Jesse was a very welcoming host. The apartment was very well sized for the two of us visiting. We found pastries, cheese, wine and general groceries within a couple of blocks. Thanks to Jesse for a great experience.

Clean and Stylish

Beautiful property with a great location. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. If stairs are an issue, I wouldn’t recommend this property. Although there were some shared spaces, the situation was private and safe. Overall, a great place to stay!!

Exceptional VRBO rental

The flat was spacious, spotless, very comfortable and in a great neighborhood close to areas of interest, transit, tasty restaurants, groceries and it had excellent views of the canal and area. Jesse was an excellent host, swift and clear communicator, attentive & available when help was needed. If I dreamed up a place to stay for our 1st trip to Amsterdam, this was it...grateful for the lovely and safe home away from home, and for Jesse's kindness, flexibility and good cheer. This is a terrific rental, I highly recommend it.

Amsterdam - short stay

The apartment is located in an excellent position to access all the main sights including Anne Frank's House, Rembrandt's House, Dam Square, etc. and close to centraal staion for easy travel to other parts of the Netherlands and Schipol Airport. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with excellent facilities and a wonderful view over the canals. I thoroughly recommend the apartment and the host, Jesse, who was very helpful throughout our stay.

Ideal location, great neighbourhood

This spacious apartment is situated in a great location with a beautiful canal view. I stayed for a full week with my two children (ages 12 & 16) and we all loved it. We felt comfortable and safe. The apartment is within walking distance to the train station, good restaurants, shops, grocery stores and the farmer’s market. We felt immersed in the neighbourhood staying here. The host was responsive and friendly. Jesse replied promptly to questions I had about the rental prior to our trip and after we arrived. Check-in was straightforward. I would return to this rental again and I highly recommend it to other travellers.

Beautiful location and view. Place needs work.

The apartment is located in a wonderful neighborhood with restaurants and several grocery stores a few minutes walk away. The view from the living room of the canal is exactly as depicted, fantastic. However, the overall feel is dingy. The place had not been cleaned. Food debris was under the couch. There was a toenail clipping on the rug by the couch. The couch fabric also seemed dirty. The kitchen faucet is loose and moves about. The microwave oven was dirty inside. The lighter for the stove was empty. The shower door doesn't stay in its track and even when it does, there's a 1/2-inch gap between the closed doors. The bedroom drapes were unhooked and too high to reset without a ladder. As expected, the apartment is three flights up. The interior stairwell was filthy, with leaves from last fall all over the ground floor entrance and up the first two flight of stairs, along with cobwebs. Walking about the apartment in our socks left them darkened with dirt.

Great view. Great location.

This is a wonderful location in Amsterdam with most amenities within walking distance or by public transportation. The view from the very large living room windows is just phenomenal. That was our favorite part of the flat for sure. Jess and Mike were very kind and helpful. They left us water bottles as well as other niceties. Mike even helped to carry our heavy luggage up three flights of stairs. If you need anything, they will surely help you. This is a shared space with the owners just up the stairs. The bathroom and bedroom have locks on doors if needed for privacy. Again, the view of the iconic city will be everything you see in the photos. Simply lovely.

Great place! Fabulous host!!

Apartment is even nicer than the photos which can’t capture how spacious and airy it is. Lovely view. Comfy accommodations. It might be three flights up - but new, modern staircase (rarity in Amsterdam) with good railings made it a breeze - even for our group of three, over-fifty ladies, tired and dragging at the end of a long vacation. And our fabulous host Jesse helped with the luggage. Truly great host - answered all messages immediately. When he realized he forgot to tell us washing machine temporarily not working - he offered and did a load of laundry for us in his personal unit. Really appreciated that he had cold bottles of water and a bottle of wine in fridge to welcome us during and unseasonably warm spell in Amsterdam. Location was great for first time visitors to the city. Easy walking to everywhere. It was a great place!!

The location of the property was excellent. Just think a little more attention to details would make it nicer. The soap bottle in the bathroom was virtually empty and you could tell someone had added water to make it last longer. Would have been nice to have a welcome book with suggestions of things to do and restaurants to visit in the neighborhood. No instructions for stove , tv, washing machine,or microwave. Little things that make a stay more pleasurable. The entrance inside the building looks like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Leaves all over. Bad first impression . There is a little hallway between the second and third door you unlock to get in the unit. We were told to make sure to leave the second door open when unlocking the third door because the light in the hallway doesn't work and it would be to dark to find the keyhole. Maybe nitpicking here but this is the first time we have encountered these issues after mant vrbo rentals. All in all the positives outweigh the negatives but it wouldn't take much effort to make for a better experience.
