Hale Kamaole 107 is a large comfortable beautiful ground floor unit in the lower part of the complex. It is just steps away from the pool, office and BBQ area . The ocean is 200 steps away.
We have just completed a kitchen remodel and other upgrades in our condo. 107 is a NO SMOKING UNIT, THIS INCLUDES THE LANAI. Hale Kamaole is now a RESTRICTED SMOKING COMPLEX, YOU MUST GO TO A SMOKING AREA TO SMOKE. SMOKING is not allowed in the condos or on the lanais. . Please check with the office for locations. Thank you.
Beautiful Kamaole 3 Beach Park voted 'Best Place To Watch The Sunset' is just across the street. Each evening the 'Hale Kamaole Conch Band' blow their shells as the sun disappears over the horizon. The islands of Molokini, Kaho'olawe and Lanai are in full view to the west. The resort has two swimming pools, two 4 station charcoal BBQ areas,a tennis court and a large grassy area for the kids to play on. The grounds are well landscaped and well maintained.Your time here will be fun and very relaxing.
H.K. 107 is close to everything, stores and shops, restaurants, beaches ect, but very Quiet. Our unit is upgraded consistently. The well equipped remodeled kitchen has upgraded cabinets, granite countertops with ceramic tile backsplash, full size range, refrigerator, dishwasher and various small appliances. The bedroom has a king size bed, a six drawer dresser and two bedside tables. We also have a 32' television for late night viewing.The comfortable living room includes a sofa that folds out to a queen bed with a memory foam mattress and two recliner chairs to view the 42' flat sreen TV. There is also a DVD/VCR player along with a stereo/CD player. The internet connection by the TV is Broadband High speed and is absolutely FREE. We also have a wireless modem.The full size stacked washer and dryer is in a closet by the bath for all your laundry needs. The lanai has a full size dining table with four chairs for outside dining and relaxing. Just a couple of steps off the lanai is a spectacular view of the ocean in one direction and upcountry and Haleakala the other way. The lanai closet contains beach mats, beach chairs, sun umbrellas, boogie boards, an ice chest. 107 is kept very cool by letting the breeze flow thru the bedroom and front door screen out to the lanai. Shops, stores, restaurants and other vacation services are within walking distance just down Kihei Rd. The Kihei small boat ramp where a lot of ocean activities begin, is about a quarter mile down Kihei Rd the other direction. World class Wailea Resort with upscale shopping, restaurants, tennis and three golf courses is about a five minute drive. There are also 2 other golf courses within a 10 minute drive.
With the weather usually sunny and in the 80s, close proximity to beaches and exceptional accommodations, Hale Kamaole 107 is definitely the place to spend your vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Hale. Thr location was great, so close to a great beach. Pool facilities were awesome. George was very kind. Check in process was not really smooth or handled well.

Location! Location!

A beach park was located across from the property. We got to see a lot of sea turtles, snorkeled, sun bathed, etc. and came right back to the apartment in minutes. Restaurants and shopping were also within walking distance. We loved our stay in Maui and the apparent was a nice place to comeback to and rest.

Great renovated unit located 1 miniute walk across the street from Kameole Beach Park III

We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice unit with a great location at the quiet south end of Kihei close to Wailea across the street from the beach in Kihei. Large unit with well-stocked remodeled kitchen for preparing meals, large living room, and comfortable bedroom with A/C unit to keep the bedroom cool.

I was lucky enough to stay in George's condo for two weeks in July. The condo was clean and had everything we needed including everything you would need for a great day at the beach or hiking or driving the Road to Hana. The newly remodeled kitchen is beautiful! I love the proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The office staff are all very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Great Location for Entire Maui Visit

The location in Kihei was absolutely perfect for our entire stay.. lovely to have the ocean across the street for quick dips and then we were able to explore the rest of the island with quick access to Piilani Hwy- or head south to Wailea and Makena- the place was clean and equiped with beach chairs, noodles. fins- The people in the front office were SUPER helpful and friendly too-- cant wait to come back- Mahalo!

Location is great. Furniture is fine, but sofa bed will be perfect. A little too many wooden frames on walls serve as dust collectors. Snorkeling gears, umbrellas and chairs should be replaced. I love to clean place were I stay every day, but there is no broom or microfiber mop to mop floors. Bedding feels like steel sheets, if possible to replace with simple cotton or softer. Otherwise we really liked the place

Great location in Kiehei

This place is such a great location - across the street from the beach and on the first floor which means getting in and out is easy. The condo is well appointed with beach chairs and towels, however the kitchen could really use some new items, especially knives. I know that sounds oddly specific, however there were plenty of knives but they were all so dull and old that it was difficult to cut anything. It is well maintained for the age of the unit, but would benefit from some upgrades, especially in the shower. We didn't spend a lot of time in the condo as we were with a group of friends and often outside, however if I had planned on cooking more or spending more time there, I probably would have selected something that had been renovated. Overall, you cannot beat this location in Kihei, especially if you plan on exploring a lot and spending the majority of your time outdoors.

Such a lovely spot right across from Kihei’s most beautiful beach. Super convenient to Mākena and Wailea. Beautiful sunsets and environment with other visitors/homeowners at the condo. The unit is stocked with snorkel gear, beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler, blow dryer, extra towels and sheets, nice washer and dryer, king sized, comfortable mattress. Unique and timeless decor. The PERFECT Spot

George’s property was clean, had all the necessary amenities and an absolutely perfect location. Kihei is a great launching point to explore Maui while still being right on the beach. The whole process was very smooth and George and the apartment management kept clear and frequent communication. Had absolutely no issues and would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed staying there! My only suggestion would be maybe an air filter in the bedroom and changing the lamp shades, it's all very dusty and the room smells like dust. Other than that, it was a wonderful time.

George was easy to reach, and Hale Kamaole is a lovely property that we have enjoyed previously. George’s unit does not feel fresh due to the old carpeting, bulky furniture crowding the bedroom and weird fluorescent box light in the kitchen, unfinished drywall hole in bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked and as pictured. The bed is very comfortable. The biggest issue for me was the misleading photo showing the view. That may be the view from the grassy area in front of the patio if you walk out and look at an angle. But the view is very closed in feeling with the office building right in front of you and you are set back behind your neighbors who need access from their porch in front of you so it feels like you can’t venture out too far to view the water. All fine if the photos indicate this. I wouldn’t stay again for this reason. If you don’t care about this it’sa good value stay at HK that is in a building very very close to the a beautiful clean turtle loving Kam III beach, and easy walk to shops and restaurants. Didn’t have a car. No problem.

Wonderful stay!

Stayed in unit 107 and it was perfect! Loved the proximity to the pool and Kamaole Beach 3 as we had two kids that were always in the water. And being a ground floor unit, it was easy for the kids to run and play on the grass! The unit is well stocked and the granite countertops are beautiful! Especially loved the comfort of the king bed....best sleep ever! Also liked the water ‘toys’ in the shed off the lanai...beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys galore! And really appreciate the late checkout option since our flight doesn’t leave till very late! We have stayed in a few units in this complex and would definitely stay here again!

The location to the beach and pool was excellent and sunset viewing from the lanai or park was *****

The property was exactly as advertised with with tons of kitchen equipment and even some coffee and spices in the cupboard and items in the fridge left by previous tenants. A couple of glitches were fixed very quickly by the very friendly and helpful staff. And do the 8:30 AM island orientation with the travel concierge - it is NOT a timeshare presentation and if you get the free sunset cocktail cruise you will love it. Get up at 6:30 to go down to the shore to see the HUGE sea turtles, especially at the rocks a few hundred feet to the left of the beach. Amazing!!

Birthday boy and family on Maui

I turned 70 July 1, and my 3 daughters, their husbands and 8 grand-children converged in Kihei for a celebration. My wife & I and 2 of our daughters stayed a Hale Kamaole. I had stayed there in 2003 and knew it was a good place to stay. Our initial contact with George was good and easy and we got the 10 days set up no problem. The condo itself is not ocean view, but Kamaole Beach Park 3 is 100 steps from the condo door and another 100 steps to the beach. The sunsets for the beach park are great, we watched them every night. All you need for fun at the beach is in the lani closet, chairs, umbrella, mask, snorkel, fins and lots of beach towels. The condo is close to great restaurants and happy hours in both Kihei and Wailea. The walks in the early morning are great, great beaches close by and happy hours o-plenty. All in all a great time was had by all and I'll book that condo again. Mahalo Nui Loa George

I wish I would’ve paid attention to the one negative review I read before booking it. Because I was debating between this place and another one, which was in a resort. I am sure it would be a nicer stay. Since the furniture is older there’s a lot of dust, especially in the bedroom. There’s not one good knife in the kitchen (it was a pain to cut the onion). There’s not a lot of privacy, since you are on the first floor and the windows go out to the office on one side and to the walking path on the other. What was the most disappointing - is that the towels that were hanged for our use were not even washed after previous guests (disgusting make up stains on the towels) - they washed out after I threw them in the washer. The washer wasn’t even wiped - lots of sand. Oh, the beach chairs are filthy and rusty. For snorkeling they only have the fins. The body boards don’t have strings on them. My final recommendation- maybe it would be a good stay for a family- for economical reasons. But if you are looking for a couple getaway - I would probably pay an extra $10 a night and stay in a nicer place. Definitely not the place for a romantic getaway. I only decided to go here because of so many good reviews I read. The only thing I liked- was a location- walking distance to the beach. It’s located at the end of Kamaole III. (But the other place was a beachfront property too)

We live in Bishop, California. We first came to Maui on our honeymoon in 1972 and fell in love with Maui. We bought our 1st property in 1975 and later moved to Maui. We moved back to the mainland in 1980 and raised our family. Our boys are now grown and gone so we come to Maui as often as possible to enjoy the island lifestyle and weather.

Why they chose this property

In 1982 we stayed at Hale Kamaole and we liked it because of the location, size of the units and the friendliness of the staff. We decided that we would buy there when we sold our house on Maui. We had lived on the east side of Maui for over two years and were well acquainted with all of the resort areas on the island. Kihei still has a small town atmosphere but has everything you need for a great vacation.

What makes this property unique

Hale Kamaole is a low rise (2 and 3 story), low density complex with lots of ammenities just across a two lane road. The weather is sunny most of the time, the trade winds keep the tempature and humidity down and on the ground floor location keeps 107 cool without having to use the a.c. 107 is about 35 steps to the pool and 200 steps to the beach and Kamaole III Beach Park.
