Perfect Location

Great overall

Many places within walking distance. Pool and laundry were readily accessible, laundromat was super reasonable ($1.5 for wash and $1 dry for 45 minutes). Pool is very clean and has very little traffic. Place is very comfortable with a bed and sofa bed and plenty of pillows. 100% recommend for a group of friends or family

Loved this stay!

It was in a great location. So many great restaurants and bars in walking distance. The beach is a quick walk from the location, and we appreciated the stay providing everything we needed for the perfect beach day! The host was very responsive throughout. I would recommend!

Great apartment close to the beach

We loved to stay in this apartment. It is close to the beach (including the cove, a popular surf beach) and had everything we needed. We loved to cook our own dinners, eat outside and watch the sunset.

Fantastic space, close to everything we needed!

We loved our honeymoon stay at Maui Melia! The condo had plenty of space, nice updates, a fully stocked kitchen, and great lanai with a small view of the ocean and great views of the West Maui Mountains! The space was clean and very well decorated. We would highly recommend this space and hope to stay again!

Loved staying here. Felt right at home. The place is clean & tidy. Small & cozy, perfect for one person or a couple. Comfortable bed. Good airflow from the ceiling fans. Nice modern bathroom. Lots of fresh towels. Close walk to the beach, ABC store & cafes. Would definitely stay here again

Very well looked after condo with lots of nice touches, will stay there again.

The first impression you get is one of cleanliness and attention to detail, there are a lot of nice little touches that make Lynne's condo very appealing such as nice decor and practical additions like ironing board, drying rack etc. The bed was super comfortable and I slept well every night which is an issue for me when I travel overseas. The kitchen was very well equipped and I was never in need of anything when I cooked my meals. The complex is also very quiet, it has a very well-kept pool area and the laundry facilities were great and only a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Maui Melia to anyone staying in Kihei.

All the necessities

It was a great place to stay with all the necessities. It’s an older property but the condo has been updated. It’s comfortable and well stocked. We don’t spend a lot of time in the room when we vacation so it was a great fit for us. Had a nice bed, hot shower, well stocked kitchen and all the beach stuff 😃. It is on the 3rd floor and no elevators so be prepared to carry your luggage up a couple flights of stairs. The parking stall is also narrow and against a wall so that was tricky getting in and out.

Nice clean unit in good location

Stayed here for two weeks with my family. The unit was nice and newly renovated. It was close to the beach and it was quiet for sleeping at night. Lynne was really helpful in the booking process. The only thing I would suggest is to check the total owing in detail as I signed the rental agreement on a certain price a year in advance and Lynne informed me 3 months prior to arrival that she mis-calculated the total amount and requested that I pay the new total which was 100's more than the old calculation. She did agree to renegotiate a price because of her error however it was still more than what was initially quoted. We enjoyed the stay here and would stay again.

Ok but not great

The property & unit are NOT accessible or accommodating for those with mobility issues. The property is very old (50+years) so no elevator, curb cuts, disability parking, etc. No recycling option. The unit does not have laundry facilities; it is in a separate building & coin operated. Kitchen is well appointed & appliances modern. Good place for a single or couple but could be cramped for 3 or 4.

Excellent Location, Amenities, and Owner!

For my first trip to Hawaii, my boyfriend and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Maui. From the moment we contacted the owner, she was prompt to respond and managed to fit us into a last minute cancellation on short notice. The reservation process was a breeze and we arrived in Maui to find the 1BR condo exactly as pictured. The layout is plenty spacious for two people and the kitchen was stocked with everything you'll need if you choose to cook in or enjoy the outdoor barbecue by the pool area. The interior is decorated in a cute beach-house/retro surfer theme and includes plenty of linens, beach chairs & towels, umbrella, cooler and other essentials for the for the beach. The weather was a little cooler, so we didn't need the A/C on, but the fans in the living room, bathroom, and bedroom added to the nice breeze that flows in from the lanai and through the space. The location is perfect and a quick 5 minute walk to our favorite beach (Charlie Young). The complex is mostly owner-occupied, so the grounds are well taken care of and quiet hours are in place at night, but the condo is a few blocks away from the "Kihei Triangle" with tons of options for happy hour, food, live music, and night life. Our favorite spots were Three's for sushi and appetizers, Tiki Lounge for pizza, and Life's a Beach for giant Mai Tai's and a game of pool. Grocery stores, paddle board rentals, and tons of daytime activities are also within walking distance. The few minor hiccups during the trip were quickly addressed by the owner who responded to emails promptly. Overall, the stay was everything we had wished for and we hope to come back and stay again!!

It was quiet and well maintained. I think it’s the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in - truly! The kitchen had everything we needed, and sure appreciated the beach towels and chairs. It was in a quieter part of town, too. We visited the pool a few times and that was also great. Very happy with our stay!

Family-Friendly Comfort

Great apartment. Within walking distance to the beach, souvenir market and lots of restaurants. Host was responsive to our correspondence. Beach supplies are a great touch. Really enjoyed having coffee on the cozy balcony and the pool was popular with our kids. Would recommend.

We have stayed at Kalama Terrace many times in multiple units. P307 is a good choice there. It was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We do love the buildings location and especially the access to beaches and South Maui Gardens.

Great place to stay in Kihei, Maui

The unit is exactly as described on VRBO. The bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed are both very confortable. The place is quiet. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the balcony, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. The pool (nice and clean) is great to cool off after a day at the beach. There is a lot of beach gear (chairs, sun umbrella, cooler,…) that we found very useful. The location is perfect. Many beaches and snorkeling spots to explore all the way to the end of the south shore (always a short distance by car). The beaches and snorkeling spots all the way to the north shore do take 45-60 minutes to reach, but it is worth it !! The north is beautiful!! And time goes fast when you are looking at the beautiful scenery. We didn’t have any problem communicating with Vacation-Maui by mail or phone. They are always very friendly and if they don’t have an answer to a question right away, they do come back with an answer as quick as possible.We did appreciate our stay at Kalama Terrace very much.
